Nice staff, terrible roomPosted 3-Dec-2013
Nice hotel with lovely staff. Seriously let down by the fact the builders obviously thought it was normal to put a shower next to a sloped roof. Meaning unless you was on your knees in the bath at the time you couldn't shower l. Plus unable to swap rooms as they had none available.

Nice hotel in a central locationPosted 3-Dec-2013
Location: Close to Dam Square and Amsterdam Central Station.
Stayed here for four nights in their advertised basic room , and was a pleasant experience. Room was cleaned well daily while we were out and we always returned to a lovely smelling clean room with fresh towels. Staff were helpful and even though check out was at twelve they had somewhere we could safely store our luggage as our flight wasn't till late. Only thing I would chang is by adding a kettle to the room.

Great location.. In the heart of AmsterdamPosted 23-Nov-2013
The hotel was in a nice location tucked away from the crowds yet close to the center of Amsterdam.. Rooms seemed old but worked for a short stay.. We booked a Queen bed.. the hotel just squeezed two twin beds together.

Good value for the centre of AmsterdamPosted 1-Nov-2013
Staff are very helpful, the breakfast is good, location is excellent. Free wi-fi is OK, but limited, and it struggles to get to the top floor. Not luxurious or typically Dutch, but solid value for money.

Nice hotel near to Dam Plaza and attractionsPosted 15-Sep-2013
Pros: Great location, great staff and excellent facilities.
Cons: Room was a bit dusty along with dirt stains in the bathroom, that was the only issue we had.
Location: Dam Plaza, Central Station, Red Light District, Citi Center
This hotel is really near to the Amsterdam Central Station (15 min walk) has a great view and is 3 blocks away from the center of the city and Red Light District. Staff was incredibly nice, the bed was really confortable althougth the room was a bit small.

European VacationPosted 14-Sep-2013
Pros: The location was perfect, and the staff was lovely.
Cons: It's an older hotel, but it was clean and bright.
We were in Amsterdam for 4 nights as part of a 4 week European vacation. We booked the Rembrandt on Expedia the night before we arrived. We parked our rental car at a park and ride on the outskirts of the city, took a bus to central station, and walked to the hotel from there. It should have taken 10 minutes, but we got lost, so it took 30! The hotel location is perfect, overlooking one of the canals, and within walking distance of shops, parks, museums, etc. We rented bikes for a day, just because, but you really don't need them since everything's so close.

Great locationPosted 14-Sep-2013
Pros: Great location
Cons: Size of rooms but there's not much they can do about that really!
Rooms were small, as expected. But it was excellently located for walking to everything and the breakfasts were very good - a pretty good selection which was constantly replenished. Would happily stay here again as a great place to base yourself.
