Excellent location. Cleanishhh, but hey oh.Posted 24-Feb-2014
Fab location, could have been a bit cleaner but did what it said on the tin. Ask about the wifi when u get there. Also €50 or credit card deposit and city tax. Good hotel overall

Located in a great area - gives easy accessPosted 24-Feb-2014
The hotel staff were superb - they helped us with everything that we needed help with. The room was comfortable and heating worked perfectly. Great view of the canal from this room. Cleanliness was also brilliant. The only thing was the shower didn't work properly but this was sorted out for us. Highly recommend!

Well located hotelPosted 23-Feb-2014
Pros: Location, Location, Location
Cons: Ventillation. Rooms a little too hot and bathrooms suffer a bit with black marks on ceiling.
Location: Near Dam square and Anne Frank house. Not far from flower market.
Hotel is ideally located just off Dam square on the quiter side of town. Rooms are fairly basic but comfortable. Continental breakfast was good but a little limited if you like a variety of fruit. Just as easy to walk to central station as it was to walk to Hard Rock cafe down near Leidseplein. It's not pretending to be luxury but it was good value and a great location.

Really good location, we were each asked for a £50 deposit for the room without being told this beforehand. The bed was so comfy!

Excellent locationPosted 16-Feb-2014
Pros: The staff were friendly and helpful.
Location: Dam square is only a short walk away, and from there you are only a few minutes walk from the red light district, numerous stores and museums.
The hotel is in a great location as you are never too far away from any of the sights and centraal station is a relatively short walk away too.

Great Hotel for a boys weekend awayPosted 21-Jan-2014
Cons: A bar or restaurant, better yet a bottle shop!
3 of us flew to Amsterdam for a weekend away. The Rembrandt was close to the station and all other amenities that Amsterdam had to offer. Basic three person bedroom for a reasonable price, perfect for us.

Terrible hotelPosted 15-Jan-2014
Cons: Staff providing accurate information main attractions, we were told by the hotel staff not to bother trying to see the Anne Frank house!!!
Location: Fairly good location
The room we had was like an attic, very small Staff providing accurate information main attractions, we were told by the hotel staff not to bother trying to see the Anne Frank house!!! as the lines of people would be too long. we decided to walk past only to find no lines and an easy entry with lost off time to explore the house.

Central Friendly Good PricePosted 10-Jan-2014
Pros: We liked the location, the room and the staff.
Location: The best thing was being able to walk around the canals at night lit up by the holiday lights, and being close to our hotel.
We had a wonderful stay in this hotel. It was central, the staff were very accommodating, the room we had was clean, and had a view of the canal. Best of all, it was in our price range. Unfortunately, we were told that the hotel is closing for renos in March. Too bad.

1st trip to AmsterdamPosted 9-Jan-2014
Pros: location was ideal for everywhere and the rooms were clean - the beds very comfortable
Cons: update the photos to show more general rooms - breakfast could have a make over too not just sausage bacon daily too
Location: it is close to Dam square and Anne Franks house. and not very far from lots of restaurants
we had booked a double and was placed in twins - once we pointed this out the hotel staff not only moved us to a double but upgraded the room free of charge too The staff were very helpful and friendly the breakfast was a mixed reaction as we was not keen on the little sausages and preferred the bacon but that was only served one day

Short Amsterdam BreakPosted 20-Dec-2013
Pros: Canal view from the room
Cons: Bathroom needs plug for bath tub and plug for basin. Needs more soap. Needs face cloth. More facial tissues.
Location: Nice location within walking distance to lots of things to do
Nice canal view from room. Did not like two beds pushed together that kept coming apart. No plug for the bath tub or the basin. No face cloth in bathroom. Minute pieces of soap. Only one pillow per person. Very helpful front desk staff on duty in the evening - two guys - not so helpful during the day, three ladies. Breakfast was OK but not great.
