Chic and playful, the hotel enjoys a quirky layout across three adjacent buildings. Guests can choose from 138 elegantly-appointed superior rooms, executive rooms, suites and a stylish Penthouse, all boasting enhanced amenities such as a direct-dial telephone, cable TV with VDA system, refrigerator, coffee/tea maker and a safe. Many rooms have a private balcony overlooking the Vondelpark.
The four-star 'Villa' building houses a selection of contemporary Deluxe suites, each with a separate living area, work space and en-suite bathroom with whirlpool. Additionally, the Penthouse Suite has a kitchen and fireplace. Complimentary Wi-Fi is available throughout.
The restaurant serves a delicious breakfast buffet, and 20 fine wines are available by the glass in V Bar & Lounge to accompany a choice of finger food and lunch dishes.

“Definitely will return”
The hotel is in a secluded residential area near Vondelpark. Tram access is good and frequent. Buy the local 1 - 3 day passes at Tourist Information & you can come & go with ease. Walking through Vondelpark itself leads towards the central areas of Amsterdam, near the casino/ Irish bars, etc. Like all Amsterdam, it`s a walking or cycling area; there are no hills. Beware the cyclists! They came at speed from all directions. The room we had was clean, modern, minimalist, but the bed was the most comfortable I`ve ever had in any hotel. The bathroom was a wetroom type, with all facilities, albeit divided from the rest of the room by a frosted glass partition. The wardrobe had reasonable hanger space, a fridge, 2 drawers and a safe. The tv supplies multiple channels [not all in Dutch, some in English] and hotel information. It`s a love it or, hate it style. We loved it. Restaurants are limited to the downstairs one, where a fixed price `all you want` Breakfast is served. Deals relate to the number of times you eat there; ask at reception. Dine out in the pm [loads of restaurants nearby], or try the bar food. It was good for its type, especially the Chef`s Specials. Wifi & Internet access is available. Local shops & cafes are a few hundred metres away. Many staff speak fluent English. The staff were all very helpful ,friendly, and laid back in the Dutch style. I`d go back tomorrow.

I loved this hotel and would stay again. We were given an upgrade to business class and both the room and bath were quite large and comfortable. The bathroom had both a tub and separate shower. The bed was comfy and everything was spotless. There was also a computer in the lobby with free internet access for guests.

we thought the hotel was brilliant, the room was spotless and cleaned everyday with fresh towels. The room was a spacious, modern and very comfortable. The staff were very helpful and friendly and made us feel welcome. We thought the location of the hotel was brilliant, a 2 minute walk to one of the main tram lines which meant we could get around amsterdam easily. Would definately recommend this hotel to others.
“Woderful Value and Great Convienence”
I was very pleased with my stay at the Park Plaza Vondel Amsterdam. I had originally planned to stay at a hostel but found that the weekday price here was equal to some of the cheaper hostels that were available at the time. It was in a quieter part of Amsterdam but a short walk to Museum square or tram ride to the bustling city center. It was right next to the beautiful Vondel park and I even had the pleasure of a room with a view of the park. The best surprise of all though was a large balcony with a table and chairs so you could have a lovely breakfast in the morning and enjoy the view towards the park. While not all of the rooms had balconies, I certainly had lucked out. The hotel seems to be a remodeled old mansion and certainly has some great character. I had a great visit and enjoyed the refuge from the more tourist filled areas.

Très bien situé dans un quartier résidentiel avec tramway à proximité, charmant accueil, chambre très spacieuse. Le petit déjeuner buffet est copieux.
“Would go back”
Near Vondel Park, nice area, tram passes hotel, excellent for getting in and out of Amsterdam. Not suitable if you want to be central Amsterdam but it is only a 10 min tram ride. Very enjoyable stay.
“Great place to stay”
The hotel was in a great location, easy to walk to centre, or to get tram and yet quiet at night. Lovely places to have breakfast alongside the Dutch just a minutes from the hotel. Vondelpark was right on the doorstep and provide opportunities to people watch. Would certainly recommend it.

l'hôtel est bien situé prés du Vondelpark ,au calme,très bon accueil,chambre propre et petit déj copieux.proche du centre par tramway ou a pied par le parc.
