“I had a wonderful stay at this hotel”
I can't say enough about how helpful the staff were during my stay. The lobby was both stunning and had a "home" feel to it with the interesting fireplace and comfy couches and chairs. My room was clean and cozy. The bed was... what can I say no pressure points at all, like sleeping on a marshmellow matress, squish yet supportive where it was needed, it was lovely, just lovely I would definitely recommend this hotel to any one going to Amsterdam.
“Chic and Comfortable”
I stayed in room 537 - a junior suite. It was fabulous! The decor could best be described as a mix of the best of modern Asian and European design. It really was as pictured on the hotel's site. The bed and bedding was so very comfortable that I did not feel the slightest bit guilty taking catnaps during my stay rather than wandering around between appointments with friends. There is also a very hip restaurant lounge connected to the hotel called Momo which meant I could still socialize in the evening even if I didn't want to leave the hotel. The hotel is really close to the Vondel Park, Leidsplein, and Museumplein. I would absolutely stay at the Park Hotel again if I need a hotel in A'Dam.
“Good hotel, great location”
Hotel itself was perfectly fine. However checking in was a mess. We were greeted and told our room was available in one of their sister hotels, because they were doing construction. The sister hotel was completely out of the way, out of the city, and not accessable to any of the main attractions. Rather than walk everywhere and be in a great location, they wanted to put us completely out of the way. I had the reservation for 3 months and no one had contacted me about the possibility of me not having a room there. After going back and forth with reception for literally 20 minutes, they told me my room would be ready in 10 minutes. Other than my inital check in incident, my stay there was great. Room was clean, and the location was excellent.
“Perfect first stay in Amsterdam”
This was our first stay in Amsterdam and we were very pleased with the Park. The location was great, and the hotel had everything we needed. The room was spacious and immaculate with a great bathroom. Our request for nonsmoking was accomodated. They put us on the fourth floor overlooking the canal. Very romantic!
“Great hotel for Amsterdam sightseeing”
This is an excellent hotel, well situated for sightseeing. Rooms are comfortable and well designed with efficient air conditioning - we were fortunate to have been upgraded. Hotel staff are very helpful and breakfast in the Momo restaurant is good. Happy to return to this hotel for future visits.
“Great Hotel!”
Stayed at the Park Hotel for 1 night in Jan 2009. Due to unforeseen circumstances we were not able to travel until a day later than we had planned, hotel were very helpful and changed our reservation to the next day free of charge, despite the fact I had booked a non refundable and non transferable room. Hotel itself was extremely nice! Our room was spacious, nicely decorated and had the most comfy mattress I have ever slept on. Staff were all helpful and polite. Didn't eat at the hotel, chose instead to eat at Hard Rock Cafe which was just across the road from the hotel. Overall we were really impressed with the Park Hotel; I would definitely stay there again and recommend it to others.
“beautiful & modern”
Really enjoyed our stay there. It's traditional & beautiful from the outside and has very modern and stylish rooms. Very comfortable beds. Perfekt location for the city, museums and boat tours.
“Park Hotel Amsterdam”
We stayed for 4 nights at the Park Hotel. it was a wonderful hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. The hotel is located in a cracking part of the city, right next to the Vondel Park and just off the Leidespleine. The decor was wicked, very decadent with great pics of film stars everywhere. Would definitely recommend this hotel .
“Great Break at the Park”
The hotel more than exceeded our expectations. Staff were all friendly and helpful. The room, although an Executive Room, was slightly on the small side but was fantastic nonetheless. Our only complaint was actually with our meal at Momo on the Sunday night. Have read glowing reviews we personally were not impressed but it could just have been a bad night! All in all a great stay and we would go back in a heartbeat.
“Great hotel in great location at a reasonable rate”
Staying at this hotel was a very enjoyable experience. Our room was quite spacious, the bathroom was modern and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The location was very central to the canals, the dam, the train station and the museums. The breakfast, while quite expensive, was an extensive buffet with lots of delicious choices and dutch delicacies.
