“Hôtel de qualité et bon marché”

Ayant un peu peur d'être éloigné du centre, j'appréhendais un peu l'arrivée à l'hôtel Zaamdam. Or, il faut reconnaître que l'hôtel est de très bonne qualité, propre, bien entretenu, et comporte de nombreux petits avantages (parking connection wifi gratuits notamment). De plus, la gare est accessible à pied (puisque située juste à côté de l'hôtel), et cela prend seulement 10 minutes pour se rendre à la gare centrale d'Amsterdam. Un très bon plan...

“very easy to get to”

we managed to wander off in the wrong direction but really this hotel is right next to zaandam station so you shouldn't miss it, just make sure you exit the station from the left once you go up the escalator. the hotel room was lovely, clean and modern and i wish my bathroom looked as smart, but then again this is a 4 star hotel. it didn't matter that it wasn't in amsterdam as the trains are easy to use and fairly cheap, taking only 12 minutes to amsterdam centraal. just check what platform you need to get back and when the last train is. amsterdam is not too big so we walked all round rather than using any further public transport. there is an albert heijn supermarket across the road from the hotel but it is a large busy road with building works so take care! that's the only complaint we had, the building works can create some noise, and it's another golden tulip hotel they're building right next to the old one. there are plans showing something huge that looks like a kid made by sticking old boxes together, it really has to be seen. we're still not sure if it was a joke but if they really are building something that looks like that then the work could go on some time! other than that the hotel was lovely, all the staff spoke good english, some were english, you can get some english tv, bbc1, bbc2, and we would happily go back.

“tres bien et acces facile au centre”

comme dit dans les autres commentaires (et c'est ca qui m'a decidé) la gare est juste a coté de l'hotel, les trains passent toute les 10 min, du matin jusqu'a une heure du mat, on est a 2 stations de la gare centrale d'amsterdam (soit 10min de trajet pour 2euros) bref, un vrai bonheur surtout au retour apres une grosse journée : on est dans la chambre en moins de deux. chambre nickel, propre, salle de bain sympa et bon equipement, tarif correspondant a la moyenne je pense (vu les autres hotels que j'ai regardé) bref j'ai passé la un tres bon week end romantique à souhait (3 jours, 2 nuits). accessible facilement en voiture, et parking gratuit, bref le top :)

“Excellent and comfortable stay in a convenient location”

A great stay! Really convenient to get to downtown (right by metro station, just one stop from city centre) and also located two blocks from a small shopping and restaurant area. Free wifi was also handy in the rooms. Staff was friendly and helpful. Only minor drawback was that the bathroom had a full window instead of a wall between the bed and the bathroom, so couples who aren't into sharing "every" private matter had no privacy. But maybe my wife and I are just a little more conservative than others. Other than that, it was great!

Hotel very nice, good location right by train station, easy to get to Amsterdam central and to/from airport. Surrounding area ok, a lot of building going on there but we came to see Amsterdam and hotel and staff very good. Restaurant and drinks at the hotel pricey but we ate out

“Very Unique!”

If you want a quirky looking hotel, then this is the place for you. It's virtually brand new, so was in a bit of a building site, but we had expected this from seeing other photos and reading other reviews, and because it was the weekend, no work was taking place, so this didn't disturb us at all. We had a very friendly welcome, and considering we arrived so late, all our needs were met. Room service delivered pizza was very tasty. The rooms are all themed differently (see the website), and ours was spotless with a huge bathroom with bath and separate shower. Our TV didn't work straight away, but this fixed straight away by a quick call to reception. The room temperature was perfect and fully self adjustable with the air con controls. Breakfast was fantastic - all you can eat, and anything you can think of was available. Evening meal was of a high quality and reasonably priced. Extra facilities included a pool, sauna, steam room and gym all included in the price. Hotel was five minutes walk from the station and I'm sure when the development of the area is complete it will be very pleasent. Overall we were very impressed with this hotel, and we can't think of a bad point. Well done Inntel!!

“hotel proche d'Amsterdam d'accés facile en voiture”

l'accueil est de tres bonne qualité , nous avons toujours eu un interlocuteur parlant francais. la proximité de la gare ( 3mn a pied) permet en 10 mn de train ( toutes les 10 minutes ) d'aller à Amsterdam centre rapidement ( 5 € aller retour) . Chambre et petit dejeuner de tres bonne qualité . possibilité de parking pour 12€ par jour . Nb: l'environnement est un immmense chantier encore en travaux .

“Inntel hotel is superb”

This hotel was excellent value for money. The quality of the hotel rooms and service was superb and free wifi throughout was a plus for the reasonable price. The gym, sauna, steam room and swimming room provided as part of your stay are also of a high standard. The food in the restaurant was absolutely stunning but be prepared to pay a pretty penny for the priviledge... also for convenience, being located literally on the train station was incredibly useful for getting around whilst not providing undue noise in the hotel. Overall for the price it would be hard to beat this hotel. Remember to get the train from Schipol airport directly to Zaandam intitially though as a taxi will cost you a lot and the train will actually get you closer to the hotel anyway..

“wonderful and warm stay in Holland!”

Inntel Hotel offers a wonderful range of facilities to enable you to have a fantastic break in Holland. The hotel is conveniently placed next to Zaandam train station which has trains into Amsterdam regularly. The staff at the hotel were courteous and helpful. Our favourite point of the Inntel was the 'well-being' suite which offers swimming, sauna and spa plus a gym facility. After a busy day in Amsterdam seeing the sights we could relax in the suite. Altogether I would rate this hotel 10 out of 10 and will definitely be returning soon.
