simple hotel, without fuss. It is clean, quiet, near the principal museums and an animated district of students. Trams for every district of the city passes near.

“Lovely staff! Great Area!”

I've never come across a hotel with such helpful staff. The rooms were sufficiently well clean and the staff were always willing to help. On our first night, we were woken up in the middle of the night due to a loud youth group staying in our wing. The following morning we informed the staff, and we were told that if it was to repeat they would take serious action. Next night, the group made limited noise and only for an odd 5 minutes. Thus, they helped us and didn't ruin the stay for the youth. Essentially, they ensured we had the best possible service!

“Great place for the price”

Great hotel, clean, friendly service. I stayed in one of the bunk bed rooms with 4 other gentelman. It's kinda like being a kid again at camp, If your lucky enough to get nice people in your room, you have nothing to worry about. I felt my stuff was safe to leave behind, althought I wouldn't leave any valuables. I had a easy time getting on a bus to & from the Airport to a location just around the block from the hotel. The Hotel is nicely located. I had a great time in Amsterdam and would stay in this hotel again.

“Good, cheap accomodation”

Not exactly 5-star luxury, but at this price (bearing in mind that everything in Amsterdam is over-priced) perfectly adequate.

“Basic, clean and friendly. Fantastic location”

Inner Hotel is a cheap and basic hotel which is clean and friendly. The location is ideal for the museums and benefits from being outside the city centre in a quiet smart area. The city centre is about 20mins by tram which stops a few minutes from the hotel. We were a party of 6 in a room with 3 bunk beds and though small, it was clean with a good shower and decent bedding. Staff were friendly, breakfast very simple. Unusual to find a hotel like this in such an upmarket area. This has the advantage of keeping noise levels lower than most other budget offerings in the city centre. Cafe Welling around the corner highly reccommended, though a moustache, scarf and trenchcoat might help you blend in!

Situated close to museum plein and easy acces to main museums but not too far to walk into the centre of Amsterdam. Mixture of clientale from students using it as a hostel and older people. Hotel operates a strict behaviour code so no drunken rowdiness. Staff very helpful and cheerful. Room small and basic but clean and a roomy bathroom. provided linen of good quality and very comfortable beds. Can reccomend the Inner hotel to anybody, particularly if they wast an early entrance to museums and maybe take in a concert at the Concertgebouew.

“Good enough for city explorers”

Stayed for two nights here while in Amsterdam. My friend and I are the type to spend all day wandering around the city, so beds and a washroom were all that was required. The room was as expected for the price paid - small but clean. If your neighbors are noisy, you will probably hear them. The shower was okay but the dirty water would accumulate at the bottom (bring shower slippers/flip-flops). Buffet breakfast was satisfactory with hard boiled eggs, breads, meats, cheeses, criossants, juices and coffee. Excellent location - a 5min walk to the museums and very close to many of the trams (2,5, 13,17).

nice staff, clean room. Breakfast was generous but strange to an American. Mostly cold cuts and toast.

Going back, but probably not to the same hotel if I have a longer stay.
