The artistically decorated Joost Eat and Drink restaurant and bar opens to a private garden and patio. Guests enjoy complimentary use of a laptop in the restaurant. Can't do better than the Hotel Vondel. Convenient location. Superb breakfasts and dinner. Service and cleanliness is top-notch. Garden is amazing.

i have used this location many times and find it both comfortable and central. due to bad weather had dinner in hotel first evening - but not great - perhaps its was my choice of menue. otherwise fine and will use again.
“FANTASTIC”
I arrived at the Vondel after a greulling week in Moscow and couldn't believe how wonderful the accomodations were. While I was fortunate to score a complimentary room upgrade, it is hard to believe that even the most minimal accomodation at the Vondel could be anything less than superlative. Highly recommended. I'd stay here again anytime. Great hotel, great staff, great location.

“A very nice boutique hotel”
We actually stayed in the Romen, a sister hotel to the Vondel. They had very kindly moved us there because we had come early and the room was not ready. Both hotels were in a wonderful area (one block from each other) that was quiet but near Vondel Park and the museums. We had a room on a court yard with a small balcony. I would definitely stay in this hotel the next time I come to Amsterdam.
“Nice hotel in convenient location”
The service from the hotel staff was exceptional. They directed us to every place we needed to go. It is centrally located and we were able to walk almost every where. It was a very enjoyable stay.

“Modern hotel in a great location”
We had a great stay at this hotel. Be careful if you need directions to the hotel because there are other Hotel Vondels or other hotels with a similar name. We got lost due to that. The room was tiny but the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was very modern & clean. The whole room was clean. Very close walking distance to the Van Gogh Musuem, Rinjks, & Ledsplein.
