The hotel is pretty centrally located. The front desk staff is lovely and very helpful. Parking is close by. The rooms are on the small side and unfortunately all of them look into the office buildings next door, so if you don’t want “Fred” sitting at his desk while your sleeping I would maybe consider booking elsewhere.

Unfortunately, our room had a very small window, making it quite dark. The bath robe had a hole on the back, under the logo. The restaurant and food were excellent. Would go back to the restaurant, the hotel was too expensive for room quality and mood.

The staff were so friendly and helpful (as were all people I encountered during my trip). The room was nicely decorated and clean, bed was super comfortable. Wi-Fi speed was perfect. Great location for walking to museums and shops. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to a friend. A welcome card and sweet treat (stroopwafel) were left in my room which was a lovely touch!

awesome hotel in Amsterdam Central
This is my 2nd time staying at this hotel in Amsterdam. The staff is super nice and friendly. The hotel is very modern and stylish. The rooms are large and the beds are very comfortable. Located in a busy area by the Dam Square with lots of restuarants and shopping close by. The hotel is down a side street so very quiet. Just a 10 minute walk to the Central Train Station Would recommend.

Wonderful Stay
Hotel V Nesplein's location is perfect for wandering Amsterdam's shopping and Red Light District. The front desk is AMAZING, very accommodating and friendly. The room was top notch, spacious and lovely with stylish accents and gadgets. The shower was a top 5 best shower ever, amazing water pressure. Will 100% stay there again when we go back!

Staff was very pleasant and helpful. They recommended some sites to see in our single day in Amsterdam. They also made reservations for our party of 8 for dinner. Everyone was pleased with their rooms.

I agree with some of the comments, the staff was very friendly. But we were quite disappointed with the ambiance of the room, it was very poorly lit, the furniture seemed cheap, there was a leather chair with a big stain, the view from the room was an office building and very close to our building. The water from the shower would come out and we would have to put towels outside the shower to contain the water every time we used it and there was slight sewage smell in the bathroom. It was quite depressing.

Absolutely loved our stay. Just got back from a week at Hotel V and it was amazing. Hotel V is a beautiful little boutique hotel tucked away in a small ally entrance. Staff were excellent and the restaurant in the hotel was nice too. But, you Must visit Cafe Van Kerkwijk (meters away) and also Bellezza (maybe 800m away). You will smile for days :)

Might be personal preference but I found it quite depressing. Bare light bulbs. Sparse furniture. BBC TV the only option IN English, no ability to cast. Fridge didn't work. You couldn't ask for a better location but overall it was pretty ropey and dark. Staff were lovely. Just not to my taste at all.

We had an amazing stay at Hotel V Nesplein. The staff were wonderful and so helpful. The rooms and facilities are so luxurious and we had the best stay. The glass of fizz on arrival was so nice as well and the bottle for my birthday. A lovely hotel - I hope we can come back soon!! P.s the beds were SO comfortable.

Excellent staff and service!! Front desk, restaurant/bar and cleaning staff were all very gracious, helpful and friendly. Great location, right on the boundary of the Red Light District, so less noise but still very convenient to get around. Will stay again!!

Perfection. Super cool industrial-chic vibes - the photos don't do it justice. The staff was kind and helpful. Everything was pristine, modern, spacious and comfortable. Bed was very comfortable, large bathroom, great food & drinks in the restaurant downstairs. Was location on a small quieter street just off a main street. Walkable to anywhere in city center and right next to the metro stop so it was very easy to locate from the airport. HIGHLY recommended, we didn't want to leave.
