Hotel Piet Hein is located in the museum district on a quiet street across from a big park. great location! It is a quaint boutique hotel that offers personal service, a great little room and a spectacular lounge/bar with a beautiful garden patio outback. You cant go wrong with this hotel. A great stay for a great price.

Piet Hein is a modern hotel located just off a park area leading to Vondelpark. Quiet, free Internet (wireless) and two blocks from the van Gogh Museum (and tram line).

The hotel was in a great location. And the rooms were small BUT nice and modern looking. I would definitely go Back.

“Simply Fabulous”

My friend and I arrived at the hotel early thinking we'd only be able to drop off our luggage and then have to return after 2pm for check-in but when we arrived there was a superior room availabe and we got upgraded and were able to check-in straight away. The room was lovely, clean and stylish, overlooking the garden, not overly large but more than adequate. My only bug bear as with most hotels is that there are no tea/ coffee making facilities in the room. Location was great, opposite Vondel Park and 5 2 minute walk to Leidseplein with the Van Gogh and Rijksmuseum close by too, tickets for which you could purchase at the hotel reception (no queueing!!!) The staff at this hotel couldn't be more helpful and we will definitely be staying here again on our return visit.

I very much enjoyed this hotel- as a single traveler (female) sometimes I don't feel as taken care of as businessman- not so the case here- these folks are friendly to everyone- and the room, while small, was very clean bright and comfortable- Also the breakfast is wonderful- as much coffee lait as you might want (need!)- Great location around the corner from the museums-

“Great Place To Stay”

Hotel is in a quiet area but within walking distance of bars and museums. The Hotel has a relaxed atmosphere with friendly staff and offers a good breakfast. I stayed during a heatwave and the room was on the warm side as it faced the sun for most of the day. But this is the only negative point after three stays there.

Great hotel. Extremely clean and comfortable. Nice complimentary breakfast. Staff extremely friendly. Very reasonable. Would definitely stay here again.

“Clean, quiet ,comfortable and close to Leidesplein”

A very fine hotel next to Vondelpark and 3 blocks from Leidesplein. Close to Museums as well, but off the main path so it's quiet. Room was renovated - the whole hotel looked new. Very nice.

“Super museum quarter hotel”

A lovely hotel and very convenient for visting the major museums. The staff were absolutely charming to me and my 74 year old mother and couldn't have been more helpful. Both the old and new parts of the hotel have a lift which is brilliant for anyone who is not super mobile, although there are a few steps up at the front.The worst I could say of the hotel was that the coffee at breakfast was a bit dodgy ! The whole area is a bit short on eateries although I recommend the nearby tapas bar and its a short walk into the canal area where there is plenty of choice. Would definitely go back.
