“A good alternative to the hotels in the city centre”

A good alternative to the hotels in the city centre, my room was ok & about five times the size of the ones you get downtown, and the breakfast included in the price, while just a plain buffet, is a rare thing to be included in the room rate these days so well worth having.

“Hotel sympa”

Hotel bien desservi par le tram, la chambre était confortable, sanitaires OK, le wifi ne portait pas jusqu'à notre chambre, des pc son à disposition pour les clients mais ils sont très vétuste. Petit déjeuner inclus, simple mais correct. Personnel agréable, des travaux de rénovation étaient en cours en juillet 2011. L'hotel fait aussi auberge de jeunesse, donc la salle du petit déjeuné est assez animé le matin. Il à un bar est à l'intérieur de l’hôtel. Il y a un centre commerciale juste en face, ce qui est plutôt pratique. L'hotel est dans un quartier populaire et à 2 ou 3 station de tram d'un parc fort sympatique avec des lapins qui cours en liberté.

“Average”

It wasn't the greatest hotel ever but did the job really well for the short time we were in Amsterdam. It was out of the centre of town enough to be close but far enough not to be overly noisy. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

“Okay Hotel”

The hotel is a gamble- there are some great rooms and some less satisfactory. My stay was unfortunately in one of the lower quality rooms: the windows didn't open- a bad thing in an unairconditioned hotel in the middle of the summer. I also found the hotel service to be somewhat aloof. When my boyfriend checked in he told them he was expecting me, but they couldn't even find his reservation when I arrived. They also "ran out of keys" and we only had one card to enter our room. Overall, it suited its purpose for a safe place to stay and the room was clean. We were also close to a metro stop for easy access to the city. If you can get a room with operating windows then this is a great hotel for those on a budget.

“Dont believe pictures”

Unclean accomodations spoil holidays => spoiled holiday=> wasted money

Very disappointing when it comes to the room, its alright if we are in different section or floors as long the quality of the room is almost the same as the other room (vice versa) but it was not. And as we approached the staff, " they cannot do anything about it" and the way their responsed is not in a good manner! The breakfast though its a hotel complement or what is just the same all through out our journey. Bed is not in good condition or not even level, you can even feel the spring inside digging in. Attitude must be look into, Costumer satisfaction!!!

“Un avis mitigé”

Un peu trop excentré (20 mn de bus du centre d'Amsterdam) et une chambre mal insonorisée avec des lits en structure métallique de mauvaise qualité. Les points positifs : le petit déj et la propreté de la chambre, un tram ou un bus qui s'arrête juste devant l'hôtel

“3 Star wannabe”

The complimentary breakfast buffet was cold slices of meats and bread. Had to sleep in bunk beds, there was no phone in the room, therefore no room service available which surely a 3 star hotel should provide. There was no shower gel or soap provided in the bathrooms which is standard in every hotel i've ever stayed in. It costs 25 euros to get to amsterdam town center (aroud late october 2010, prices may change upon future visits). Apart from the hotel i really enjoyed Amsterdam and would love to return in the near future.

“Not impressed”

It is rather a student hostel, than a hotel (for a student hostel not too bad though)
