“Great hotel, good price”

We stayed in this hotel for 4 days and it was small, but very comfortable. The bed was sooooo comfy. It's located right in the entertainment district and about a 20 min walk from central downtown. Good location, good price.

“Comfy, friendly and warm”

The location was wonderful, close to everything, around the corner from a canal, right on a tram line. Our room was very tiny but very clean and we had a TV, private toilet and shower, just what we needed. The breakfast was generous, scrambled eggs, sliced meats and vegetables, fruit, lots of juices, more than enough and included in the price. All the staff were friendly, helpful. We did hear complaints from people who were given rooms in the basement but ours was on the second floor, faced a pleasant quiet courtyard and we enjoyed our stay. I would definately return.

“Nice room in good location if you like soft beds”

We had a quad room on the third floor for a 1 night stopover in Amsterdam. The hotel is solid 3 star and less than 1 km from lots of sights. Beds were soft which some of the family loved and some not so much, depending on their bed preferences.

“OK but not the best”

We stayed at 3 other 3 star hotels and this was the most expensive and by far the one in the worst condition/worst hotel (in comparison). The room was extremely small and awkward to use. There was a closet in the way of the sink. The view was disgusting - we were in the basement and looked out onto a mouldy, gross, fake grass carpeted area. The location was great really close to restaurants, Vondelpark, Van Gogh museum, Rijksmuseum, Anne Frankhuis. Bed was really soft and only had 2 really soft pillows (double bed). The room was reasonably clean and they cleaned them daily. Our room was a bit noisy, we could hear the traffic on the stairs, TV of another room and breakfast service above. I'd go back but I'd look around at other hotels first.

“You can do better!”

: The location was good, the museum district is withing walking distance and there were tram stops very close to the hotel. The included breakfast was very good and everything was usually hot and kept full. The hallways are unbelievably narrow and you could barely get your suitcase down them. Some of the rooms are ridiculously small (even by European Standards) and the concierge was rude and spiteful. One bright spot of the rooms is they have very nice updated bathrooms. Although the location is alright I would not stay here again, I think for the price you can probably find something better.
