A very good hotel, good location, next to main public transport

“Good, clean, hotel”

Great, new hotel about 10 minutes from Amsterdam central station. The breakfast was great, and was a choice of bread/toast; cheese; meats; cereals; fruit; juice; coffee/tea; and yoghurt. The room was very clean and warm, and it was nice to be able to open a window for fresh air as you cannot do this in some hotels. Unfortunately the water in the shower was cold twice out of four showers we had. Our room was very clean and modern, although quite basic. Nothing fancy here. Tram 12 stops outside the hotel giving access to large parts of Amsterdam, and easy links to other trams. 24 hour passes on the trams/buses/metro (but not the trains) was only 7.5euros. Great way to get around and better than using the train to get to Amsterdam Central.

Excellent hotel, situé à 50m de la gare de train pour accéder au centre d'Amsterdam en 5 minutes. Chambres confortables et personnel agréable. Je recommande!

“Good Hotel Minus the Extra City Tax they charged”

Well the overall experience was good, communication and explanation from their staff for travel directions was not complete. Seems staff are overworked there, people just want to put down the phone asap. Location is good for families who dont want to stay near the central. 48 to central takes around 20 mins to reach central and is available quite late in the night. Airport transfer also can be done easily within 40 minutes by bus 68 which takes non busy route where you can enjoy the inner city of amsterdam. I would suggest take the gvb pass its worth it. as transfers to central and airport can be managed with this. Breakfast was good,

“Mixed”

The hotel was lovely but its location was a bit of an issue, there is nowhere close to eatand although it was only five minutes on the train int the central station it was too far to go late at night in the cold.
