Excellent location and very helpful staff. Only complaint is the extremely soft mattress in the single rooms. Didn’t sleep well. Others experienced the same. If matresses aren’t changes then I won’t return but if they do change, I will definitely return and recommend.

Nice hotel in a good position.
I rented a single room. It was a very adequate size, comfortable bed, very clean,medium size wardrobe, desk and 2 chairs. Room was quiet over night with a nice view of the garden.Reception staff were all friendly, helpful with very good levels of English

I booked this room for a friend coming from Turkey. On his way to the airport, his Uber was in a terrible accident delaying his flight. My friend is still in hospital. The driver was killed. I requested consideration for this circumstance, perhaps credit for future stay. The woman at the desk refused. There are times when we should make the right decision to be human and decent. Both EasyJet and Pegasus budget airlines have been extremely understanding and refunding all costs. Disappointing.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good and the location of the hotel was excellent. My only disappointment was that I was expecting a twin room but my wife and I found ourselves in what was in effect two single rooms with an adjoining door. However, this was not a huge proble.

It indicted twin beds, in the small print it stated two rooms adjoined. However the carpet was vile and the windows were perished so could not be opened.

Amazing service and location.
Faultless and friendly service. Beautiful location in one of the more picturesque locations with canal views. Would be higher score, but the noise between rooms and condition of some areas not great. But for the price I paid, compared to others, it's very good.

Lovely hotel, would recommend here.
Really enjoyed my stay here, lovely hotel in a beautiful place next to the Prinsengracht canal situated in the middle of the canal Belt. Friendly staff, helpful and readily available for help with most requests for your stay. Lovely garden area set with beautiful views of neighbouring houses. Would stay here again, good room amenities and daily housekeeping service.

The service was wonderful, very friendly, courteous staff. Incredible breakfast! They even had gluten free bread as an option for me! I have never had such an option before! I love Amsterdam and will be back and hopefully can return here when I do.

Lovely hotel in a nice location. The staff were polite but not overly friendly. The room was clean and spacious but a little worn. The lighting was terrible. We had the main light the lamp and the two bedside lamps on and it barely made a difference. You have to give your key into reception every time you leave the hotel, it’s a proper door key with a massively heavy key ring and would be a pain to carry about but I’d rather just be able to keep my room key. Check in is at 2pm but you are able to leave your luggage before and after check in which is really handy and something I took advantage of. It’s a relatively short walk to all the main attractions. 30 mins from Amsterdam central 15mins to Leidseplein 10 mins to Rembrandt square 20 mins to Rijksmuseum 20 mins to Ann frank house with plenty to see and do along the way. We didn’t eat there but the menu look ok. There are plenty of places nearby to go and eat for much less than the hotel charged though. Overall a lovely stay but sort the lighting out.

Cute hotel. Enjoyed our stay. Just be aware there aren’t any air conditioners in rooms, you’re asked not to eat or drink in your room and when you leave the hotel you need to give your key to the front desk each time. Other than that the breakfast was great, the workers we nice and helpful and the location is beautiful. I would stay here again.

You can't be the location for the money for the qu
I would not want to stay too close to the red light district this is a perfect balance between the posh museum and entertainment neighborhood and red light district easy to get around
