“A Terrific Choice”

What a delightful experience. The gentlemen at the reception desk were efficient,helpful, kind and even humorous. The hotel is convenient to the #5 tram, directly in front of the hotel, taking you right to center city. It's attractive and quaint, has an excellent breakfast buffet and we had a spacious room with a great view of the street scene. We were 100% satisfied.

“Well Located Amsterdam Holel”

Very well located on convenient tram line # 5 which goes from RR to south station HOtel only three tram stops from South Station where departs cheap train to Airport. Tram line to nearby Museum districts and then to DAM. Could not be better located to transportation. Clean rooms. Nice folks at desk. Good value.

“Possibly the best yet visited”

For our trip it was perfect, there was a tram stop right outside the hotel that took you striaght into the City. Breakfast was what we expected, juice, coffee, croissant, cold meats and the like. The room was excellant not what we expected at all. We had a family room which other hotels in the UK would have provided a double bed and a settee with pull out mattress, not here, we all had a proper bed. The room itself was on the fourth floor which offered lovely views of the surrounding rooftops and was comfortable temperature wise, which was good because the weather was fine but cold. All in all we would thoroughly recommend this hotel to anyone with a family of 4. Just one more thing unlike the UK in the Netherlands children aren't classed as adults until they are 18 and even in some cases entry to museums if free for under 18s as well. So please visit Amsterdam and use the Hotel Beethoven. (use the number 5 tram from the station as it passes right outside the hotel.)

“sweet and cuzy”

Hotel is realy nice and cuzy. staff are extremly helpfull. Just rememner threre is no bar at the hotel, but plenty outside closeby. well located close to all shoping center and public transportation.

“Convenient and quiet”

The hotel was conveniently located at one of the trolley stops and was just outside the central part of the city in a quiet area; a perfect place to be able to go back to to rest after a busy day of sightseeing. Breakfast buffet was included, and the staff was very friendly.

“Lovely Hotel”

Staff were all lovely and extremely helpful. Breakfast was good. Very steep stairs within the hotel, however there is a lift. 24hr access to the coffee machine (and it's free!). Hotel was a bit out of the way, but the tram there from Central takes you through some of the main attractions, including the main entertainment centre and the Rijksmuseum.

Hotel et personnel sympathique, Petit déjeuner très convenable. Seul bémol, un peu éloigné du centre ville à pied: 20 minutes de marche.

Our room was quite large, very clean, and 2 minutes from a tram stop. Reception was helpful and friendly. Breakfast was great. Would definitely stay here again!

Good hotel in a good location. Outside the city centre but on the tram route (stops are just outside the hotel), so easy to reach everywhere. Friendly & helpful staff. Would recommend this to anyone holidaying with family - old or young.
