"great hotel in good area near museums"
Hotel is only a 10 min walk from the airport shuttle bus. Very easy to find. Great rooms and staff very helpful. Take a walk in the local market and get a feel for the area. Bar is lively and the area is quite trendy - but not full off boozy louts - so has a good vibe. Its a good walk to the main areas but taxi and tram are nearby - hire the bikes from the hotel great fun and you are in the center in 5 mins of pedal power!

We had room 306, which had no windows - which meant we slept really well (no noise and daylight coming through the curtains)! The bed was large and the room was spacious making our stay very comfortable :) All the staff we encountered answered our questions and helped us promptly. The hotel is clean and modern and perfectly located (for us) as we were far enough away from town to get a decent nights sleep, yet it is right next to the tram stop and the train station making journeys to the centre and to/from the airport an easy task. Overall, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Qbic hotels to others - good value for money, hassle free and they offer discounts on some of the attractions.

Hotel & staff where brilliant the only thing I didn't like was breakfast! Long wait for a fried egg because there was only one person doing omelet's & fried eggs ? Why the eggs weren't cooked already like all the other hotels across the world ??

Park Hotel Amsterdam

"Very good hotel, excellent for travel connections."
We had 4 excellent nights in the Park hotel, the lobby staff were very knowledgeable and helpful and we bought tickets for the HoHo boat and bus and also the Van Gogh museum from the front desk. The hotel is well placed for the main museums, the Heinecken experience and Anne Frank house was a pleasant 25 min walk away. We didn't use the restaurant but did our own thing for breakfast and for other meals, we bought yoghurts, fruit etc for breakfast at Heinj supermarket which was 2 streets along and used the room fridge to keep them cool. We had a day trip to Keukenhof gardens which was very nice. Our highlight was definitely Van Gogh museum we bought our tickets from the hotel and went just after 9.00 AM and more or less walked straight in, allow 3 hrs for this museum, we went to Anne Frank on our first night at about 6.00 and had to queue for about an hour, it takes about 45 min to see through the house. We used the HoHo bus and boat combination ticket from the hotel for 20 euros - good value - only problem was that the company isn't allowed to advertise their stops but there is a stop for both outside the Rijkmuseum only 2-3 mins from the front of the hotel. We used the 197 bus from the airport to Landseplein stop and from there it is only a 2-3 min walk back to the hotel. We will definitely use the Park hotel if we return to Amsterdam.

"Cheap and fantastic"
Trendy, comfortable and cheap, plus the staff were genuinely excellent and the food was very good. I stay at Schiphol on a regular basis and used to use the Ibis primarily. This place will be my preferred choice going forward, I could not fault it.
