“wienik”
Very good experience. Although the room was tiny, it was neat, clean and well maintained. Kitchen was well stocked. Steep staircase access to the room might make it difficult for some people (e.g. elderly or folks with kids). Otherwise this is a very good place, in a nice neighborhood close to tramline. The hosts are very nice and friendly as well.
“beautiful Dutch loft”
It is beautifully and simply furnished, kitchen and bathroom sparkle. Very inviting, although it is small it has ample room for all two people would nee. The Food and drinks in fridge and cupboard were surprising, in their quality and quantity (including wonderful Dutch cheeses and bread). Again all you would want and well stocked cupboardswith utensils and dishes. Don't be put off by the wee spiral stairs, our host carried our heavy bags up with some ease, which we seniors lacked. Read the comments and suggestions for your Amsterdam stay in the guest book, people of all ages have obviously enjoyed their stay. I could not fault it, and didn't want to leave!
“excellent, great value for money”
Great location in Amsterdam (museum quarter), near a fresh market, we walked easily from the apartment all around the city, the man who gave us the keys was extremely friendly, make note that check-in doesnt start til 3pm so you must arrange to drop off your bags prior if you need to (as we failed to do this), also make sure that you are aware of the pay in cash only and the 200euro damage deposit, also make sure to contact the owners to arrange the time you aim to check in so they are available (we only stumbled across the above having lost an email, otherwise it would not have been done). The cupboards were filled with food, teas, coffees etc and the kitchenette was able to make any food with a microwave under the sink aswell. The bed was very comfy and the room was really well-lit with large windows and views of the adjoining streets. Very well-maintained, thoroughly enjoyed are stays, would recommend and certainly return there if we were to visit again.
