“Hôtel près d'Amsterdam”

Hôtel un peu loin d'Amsterdam, mais la gare n'est pas loin à pied. Personnel très compétent et sympathique, accueil agréable, chambres très bien tenues.

“location was everything”

Very good location. overall hotel experience disappointing. airport shuttle going back to the airport was 7.5 euro per person. the room was OK but the noise coming from neighboring rooms was unbearable. the hotel offers one small bottle of water for the entire family...very cheap!

“Crown Plaza Schipol”

It is certainly a very clean hotel with rooms of high standrd. The location of the hotel is very poor for staying for liesure. There is no public transport or taxi ranks closeby. even taxis if called would take 20 minutes. The airport pickup service is good. However, the airport drop srvices is charged at an expensive price which I think is a poor proposition for liesure travellers. So, to get out of the hotel, you have to take only their transport at their price and frequency.Hwever, it is a good place if you can drive to teh hotel.

“Not to select this hotel again.”

The hotel is very far from the aireport . It took us more than 20 Eur to take a taxi to get there. There were no resterants or convinience store nearby. Especially compared with the room rates, the shuttle bus to the airport is not free. It even more expensive than taxi if you have 3 or more person.

“Crowne Plaza Amsterdam Schiphol, too far from Amsterdam city”

The whole hotel is very clean and confortable but not very near the city. There is a charge for parking lot

“Nice Hotel - But So-so Service”

This hotel was extremely nice, clean, modern and reasonably close to train transportation. The restaurant was also quite nice, but the staff seemed to be less concerned with customer comfort than they were with efficiency. Out of all the hotels of this class, this one is the least guest-friendly I've experienced in a long, long time.

“Not Impressed”

I was extremely disappointed with the shuttle service from the airport. We waited in the freezing cold for over 45 mins before one turned up. Meanwhile, there were other frequent shuttles turning up almost every 15 mins. I certainly will not be recommending this hotel to any body especially if they have family. The hotel location is also difficult to commute to central Amsterdam as you have to walk almost 10 mins to the nearest train station or be prepared to pay 7.5 euros using the hotel shuttle service. The hotel is clean and the staff is very polite.

“Average hotel”

It was nice stay but they charge every little thing you do... I Check in and sleeped, had shower and had the hotel breakfest, they charged me over $30 extra services

“DO NOT GO TO CROWNE PLAZA”

Although the rooms were clean and spacious, the service was absolutely horrible. The clerks at the reception try to add on unnecessary charges like for parking, extra beds, etc. They were not friendly and extremely unprofessional. Shuttles to and from the airport are not free. EUR 7.50 per person, and you have to call for a bus pick up after 8pm. Go to Hotel Schipol A4 instead. Service was great, rooms were good, and free shuttle service to and from the airport which is just 10 mins away.

“New York Prices in the Netherlands!!!”

i love this hotel and it holds great memories for me. However when I went back for our anniversary i was bowled over by the 'pay to snneze' mentality. I have so many examples but my favorite one is that there was no milk/creamer sachets in the room. So i went down to the bar (in night clothes and overcoat) to say there was no milk. The girl behind the bar charged me 2 euros for a small glass of milk for my tea, in my room. I was speechless, explained I had no cash, that it was the hotel's mistake that there was no creamer. I still had to pay the 2 euros. When i complained I was met with sniggers and they eventually took it off the bill, (principal with me had set in by this time) but i felt really cheap for complaining. Not impressed. also, breakfast was 20 euros per person. I had cornflakes and juice and it was still 20 euros. Silly prices for drinks. Food was delicious though and the service was excellent.
