“Im going back next week”

Rooms are clean and functional and nice. Staff are great everybody speaks english well.Very very good location just a stones throw to all the trams in the city and the museums and parks.

Area recommendations

You can visit everywhere but be careful at night around the soccar staium

“A good choice”

The reception staff were accommodating and very helpful. The breakfast (fee) was of good quality and selection. The standard rooms are European in size and can pose a challenge if you have more than one suitcase. Be aware that ground and first floor rooms on the street sides are not well insulated against passing pedestrian and vehicular traffic sounds. Request a room at the rear of the hotel or on higher floors if you are a light sleeper.

“Outstanding location”

Booked upgraded room and a still found room small with bed against wall. Just able for two people to move about the tiny room. That being said, location was very good within walk of the square and attractions. Tram allowed easy access to the train station area and the daily pass allowed for hop on/off service. Never have seen so many bikes and obey traffic signals for crossing otherwise a car or bike might run you down.

Area recommendations

If time allows book a trip to Antwerp. Also, Rotterdam and Brussells as well.

When to go

Don't miss the Sunday Brunch at the Amsterdam America Hotel close by. Outstanding return for the price. Four hour of wonderful food and outstanding Jazz for $115.00 US for two.

“Good hotel, very satisfied.”

Was a little pricy but a good location in Amsterdam. Room a bit small, but pretty normal for Europe. But it was comfortable and clean, we were happy with the stay.

“Good location”

The room was small but very convenience location and clean. I like all the hotel stuff, they are nice and helpful. One small thing- I got annoying was one young female stuff who need more training since she does not know anything around there and pretty rude. But overall I am happy staying with them.

“It served the purpose.”

The staff was helpful and allowed us to change rooms--first room was small, dark, uncomfortable for two, and on the ground floor. Second room was much improved. The location was great as it was 2 blocks from the noisy Square

“Nice place”

Room was quiet and comfortable. Everything I expected. Breakfast was great and the staff was very friendly. Large luggage storage room for storing the bags if you have a late departure. Very convienent location to restaurants and museums.

Outdoors or beach

Best parks in the city are just a couple blocks away. Can't be beat on a sunny day.

“Just don't expect to sleep in”

This hotel had a great location for the price. My room was in the "basement" and therefore next to the kitchen. At 0 dark 30 they start to prep for b-fast and it is loud. Other than that they could have verbally told me to pay for parking outside since it was not obvious. The hotel was clean and comfortable and priced right.
