“Would use this hotel again”
Great location, convenient to museums. Many cafes and bars close by as well as right next to a metro stop connecting to any place in the city. Would surely stay here next trip to Amsterdam.
“Long weekend in Amsterdam?”
Perhaps more expensive than some, this hotel is well worth it for the standard of accommodation and location. Museums and Vondel park are a few minutes walk away, and cafes, restaurants, shops etc are easy to find close to Leidseplein. A short tram journey or longer stroll takes you to the city centre areas. Would happily return, and have already recommended to friends.
“Would stay again”
Great location quiet area near Vondelpark opposite canal. Hotel rooms good size very clean and very comfortable, staff friendly helpful. Close to lots of restuarants and eateries, first time stayed near red light districts, not very clean, very busy preferred this location doesnt look much from outside but very nice hotel. Took taxi from station took about 20min. breakfast was not included paid 15euro for buffet breakfast which I thought was good value.
“Beautiful Hotel”
Wonderful period hotel, spoiled only slightly by recent modernising. But very comfortable and staff attentive. City centre not far to walk, but tram right outside door. Very close to museums.
“Excellent hotel.”
We were delighted with this hotel! It was clean, modern and the location was perfect. We had a balcony overlooking a canal with a great view of the city. We were on the 5th floor so it was quiet. The room was large and had a good bathroom. The beds were comfortable and the air conditioning worked well. We would definately go back.
“A hotel with character”
I was very pleased with the hotel and service. The food was excellent in the Cafe Americain. My only disappointment was that there really wasn't a lobby. The location was great and in a really nice part of the city.
“A great place to stay.”
It was centrally located and within walking distance to attractions.
“Excellent location very good value”
I would highly recommend this hotel if you want to explore the city on foot or bike. I stayed for four nights and the hotel upgraded me to an excellent suite--I absolutely loved it.
“Very impressed”
The staff were very professional, friendly and helpful. Hotel in good location for sights, either on foot, taxi or trams. Rooms very comfortable and clean.
“Lovely Hotel in Great Location”
What a lovely hotel! The staff were pleasant and helpful at all times and the King Size room that we booked was extremely comfortable and well decorated. The room also had a lovely balcony overlooking the canal and it was quiet at night. The hotels location is superb as everything you could need is on yor doorstep. Dam square and various museums are only a 15 stroll from the hotel. I would have no hesitation in choosing this hotel for my next trip to Amsterdam.
