“Will stay again.....”
Was not sure what to expect as no reviews but took a chance. Pleasantly surprised on arrival with a helpful desk so signed in very quickly. Room very pleasant and perfect for my requirements although some may say basic. However as I only use room for sleeping and NOT for spending my vacation in it was OK for me. Only one small note that was lack of tea / coffee making facility. Beds comfortable; TV excellent; Shower/bathroom OK. Of note was no noises heard from adjoining rooms. Was on top deck with superb views of river down to Central Amsterdam. Close to free ferry terminal which made journey to and from hotel unusual and enjoyable reminding me of my childhood and Gosport Ferry Boats to Portsmouth. Will most certainly be staying here again.

the hotel was a 15 minute boat journey from train station which ran every 15 mins which made it feel even more of an adventure the botel was spotless and the staff were very helpful would go back in a minute.
“Great for a weekend away nothing fancy but clean and tidy”
We have now stayed in the hotel twice. It is clean and tidy. The rooms are neat and clean, however tea making facilities would be a great addition. The En-suite is exactly what you would expect a boat cabin bathroom to be like. Very small but has everything you need. We arrived an found that we had a room with 2 single beds so went back to reception and they changed our room for a room with a double bed straight away. The hotel is locates 0.8m away from the centre of Amsterdam however most of this distance is covered by the free ferry. If you miss the last ferry then the hotel provide a free shuttle bus. The staff are helpful and pleasant. The only thing I should point out is the breakfast. we did not pay for this on the second trip this could be our personal preference but we just ended up having tea and toast the first time around. On the whole I would recommend this hotel. If you are going for a short break then this is a perfect well priced, well located simple hotel. Its also a novelty staying on a floating hotel.
“Quite good hotel.”
The hotel is quite nice and situated not far from the city center. Although you will need to take a ferry from Central Station to get to the hotel, it takes just 10 (maybe 15) minutes.

l hebergement sur le bateau Amstel Botel fût des plus originales. La relation qualité/prix défie toute concurrence. L'accès au quai du bateau par ferry ou par bus est très bien desservi. Un accès direct a la gare par Ferry est un avantage.
“looking forward to another visit”
The hotel was great and staff were very helpful to offer advice i.e excrusions, markets etc. The shuttle boat to the hotel is great and runs regular to the hotel. If you wish to stay out and party in the City centre this can be a little inconvenient as the shuttle bus stops running after 1.00am.
“Interesting place to stay”
Nice place to be, comfortable, quiet, only a little too small in room and bathroom size.

Enjoyed our stay. Got early check-in with no problem. Fun to take the ferry and get away from the city centre.
“Good enough...”
Very small room and tiny bathroom. You have to take a free ferry from the Botel to the Amsterdam Central Station in order to get to most places in town. The ferry takes like 10 minutes. At night you have to take a different free ferry and a free hotel shuttle will pick you up and take you to the Botel.
