The Hotel Poseidon has a Beauty Centre, the first one in Positano, created to offer its guests and non-staying guests, a wide range of face and body beauty treatments, and massages.
Apart from the four equipped massage rooms, there are also: the Turkish bath dug into the rock, the tanning-shower and the Shiatsu room.

Hotel Poseidon’s restaurant is located in the villa’s spacious family dining room. During the warmer months, it moves outdoors to the terrace area with splendid pergolas and a breathtaking view of Positano and the bay.
The restaurant allows guests to dive into the local area’s rich culinary tradition.
The spacious terrace overlooking the bay of Positano, from where you can sometimes really hear the sound of the sea from the beach below, is one of the hotel focal places: some shady areas to enjoy the fresh breeze, a sunbathing terrace with a swimming pool.
Hotel Poseidon meeting room can sit up to 50 persons and can be equipped with all the most recent equipment.
Also, Hotel Poseidon garage can park about 25 cars and there is an additional outdoor space in front of the hotel for 6/7 cars.
Free WI-FI internet service is available in all the rooms and an internet point is available in the hall and is free of charge, too.

Given the history, position (south-east), and structure of the hotel in Positano’s “vertical” configuration, the 48 rooms and suites, each furnished with Mediterranean flair and complete with all the comforts, vary in size from one to the next: they all have a terrace furnished with sophisticated wrought iron tables and chairs allowing guests to enjoy breakfast in their rooms while admiring the magnificent panoramic side sea view.
The floors are tiled in maiolica from Vietri and the decor includes period furniture belonging to the family, which gives the rooms a certain warmth.
The most spacious and luxurious accommodations offered at the hotel are the Suites and Junior Suites, the former having a living area separate from the bedroom.
The large terraces have chaise-longes allowing guests to relax with a book or drink, in the privacy of their own room.
Free WI-FI internet service is available in all the rooms and an internet point is available in the hall and is free of charge, too.
All the rooms have a bath or a shower, hairdryer, bathrobe, slippers, AC, minibar, safe, LCD TV and direct-dial telephone.

The breakfast buffet is extremely eclectic, featuring fresh fruit, tomatoes, mozzarella, and exquisite sweets.
Lunch and dinner options include various types of homemade pasta, seasonal produce exploding with flavor and color, and the finest selection of local meats and seafood fresh off the boat – all prepared and served alongside the outdoor grill.
To top it off, guests are offered an array of desserts, gelato, and sorbet.
In the evening, the candlelight and live music create a truly romantic atmosphere.
The wine cellar also offers a careful selection of Italian labels, with special focus on the Campania region, featuring local grape varieties which provide the perfect accompaniment to the harmonious flavors and aromas of this marvelous region.
The tables are accented by the famous “Vietri plates.” These are hand-painted ceramics with colorful designs, produced by the workshop “Ceramica Artistica Solimene” in Vietri sul mare (Salerno).
There are a number of alternative options for those who are allergic to gluten or other food products.

“Amalfi Coast for Couples”
Location is perfect for Positano. Not too far up the hill from the beach but far enough up the hill to provide excellent ocean views. The staff were fantastic, always respectful, helpful and friendy. Hotel restaurant and pool were a perfect way to finish the day.
“Wonderful accommodations in Positano!”
We enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Poseidon. It was ideally located, the staff was courteous and unobtrusive, and our room was clean and had a very nice terrace. The breakfast on the larger terrace was lovely - with an incredible food selection and amazing view of Positano. The pool area was a real plus. We would definitely stay there again. Bellissimo!
“Poseidon Hotel”
Extremely satisfied, great food, service/people all the best. The only drawback is transportation to Positano. Public bus service is very bad. You have to wait in a big line forever and finally you end up paying a taxi a lot of money for a one way trip. Of course the hotel has nothing to do about it. The place is like heaven. Great place to relax. You feel safe in the area. There is a very limited parking space, so renting a car is not a good idea.

This is the perfect place to stay. The only thing we didn't understand was the dog that was a permanent fixture at an outstanding resort.

“Great stay and very nice staff”
My wife and I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights during our honeymoon. The staff couldn't be friendlier and the hotel is in great condition. The rooms are what you'd expect from a European hotel, small but comfortable and not cramped. The breakfast every morning is delicious and it's absolutely amazing to be able to spend all day at their pool while looking out on the entire town of Positano. We only had dinner at the hotel once but the food was delicious and again the view is unforgettable.
“Heaven on Earth”
Our stay at the Poseidon Hotel was a highlight on our recent travels through Italy. It is simply a gem of a hotel on the beyond beautiful Mediterranean coastline. All the staff were very helpful and extremely respectful. Our room was beautifully appointed with a large private balcony which offered spectacular views of the town from the cliffs to the sea. The upper floors of the hotel held the pool and the restaurant with its beautiful dining room and outdoor dining area. We thoroughly enjoyed taking breakfast on the restaurant's balcony while being shaded from the morning sun by a canopy of vines and flowers as we drank our cappuccino and drank in the view. We loved every minute.
“Spectacular views and very friendly and helpful staff”
We loved the Posiedon. The bedroom and bathroom were spacious. The terraces had magnificent views down the Amalfi Coast and there are a number of real nice sitting areas inside the hotel, too. The breakfast buffet is real good and the staff, especially Angelo and Jessica, are wonderful. And this location is more quiet than some others because it's not too close to the area where the local buses pick up passengers and leave the town. We would definitely go back to Positano (a nice base for day trips around the coast) and would stay at the Posiedon again.
“Best hotel in Positano”
We were blown away by Positano itself but our stay at the Poseidon was the icing on the cake. From the moment we arrived the staff were absolutely amazing and made us feel welcome. The room was very large and airy with a really nice atmosphere and lots of charm. We had a large balcony with amazing views over Positano. The bar, restaurant and pool/terrace were all fantastic. Brilliant service at the bar and when eating and again the staff were so nice. Finally, any hotel that has everything you need for a bloody mary or a bucks fizz at breakfast gets my vote! Overall the service and standards here set the Poseidon apart and we felt more like we were in a 5 star hotel.
“Delightful.”
Hotel is a 10 minute stroll to the town centre, and close to several decent restaurants, It's own restaurant is worth trying.The terrace where the excellent buffet breakfast is served has wonderful views of the sea and the town. Service from the friendly staff is good. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
