“Great place, great location, great people.”

Plus: Great place, great location, beautiful view, great value, nice new building and rooms, free breakfast. Minus: Little ants in our room, breakfast nothing special, hot water sometimes took long time to come on. Given the price and pluses, we would definitely go back and don't think we would bother looking at other places.

“can't wait to go back!”

Hotel was clean, very well taken care of and well run. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. The views from our room and our balcony were breathtaking. We enjoyed the location of the hotel, it is a good walk down to the beach but you pass by great shops and restaurants. We will definitely stay here again on our next visit to Positano!

“Beautiful, great hotel”

Felt like this hotel was great value for the money. We had a nice size patio over looking the water. The staff was extremely nice. Breakfast was a typical mix of breads, cereal, yogurt, and sweet treats. The next time we are in Positano we will definitely stay here.

“Good location for Positano”

Enjoyed our stay at Palazzo Talamo. The room was a good size and the tariff included breakfast. There are some good restaurants nearby. Note it is half way up the hill so going to the town involves going up and down stairs. The location was good although getting to it the first time was difficult as we did not know how to get there from the ferry. Information on this would have been useful - advice to anyone contemplating going - ask hotel best way to get there from ferry or bus, taxi is expensive and not necessary once you know how to get there.

“Rude staff”

The hotel itself was in a good spot with great views but the owner was extremely rude. When paying I mentioned that I was disappointed with the very high charge for wifi of 15 euro per day she went crazy at me! Shouting and ignoring any response that I had. We then got evil eyes from her for the rest of the stay and also got shouted at a second time for not leaving our key at reception when going outside, we were not asked to do this on check in. She also charges 5 euro for any item of your own that you put in the room mini bar which is excessive. We were also charged for 2 drinks from the mini bar that we never had. Such a shame that the staff completely ruin a good hotel and a relaxing stay. Would never go there again!
