“The best grand hotel in Amalfi”
This hotel was not only visually beautiful but also had great hospitality among the staff. They were very attentive to all of our needs. The view from the hotel room is amazing. This place had a private beach which was convienent and picturesque. I wish to go back and stay at this very special place.
“Very enjoyable, but not suitable for everyone.”
Upside - Location was stunning, Staff could not have been more attentive, friendly, or helpful. Restaurante a pleasure to use, food delicious and a good choice. Breakfast, whilst not recognisably 'international' was good in the Italian style - the terrace location was a great way to start the day. The free minibus into Almalfi town was useful on a number of occasions. Room servicing was second to none (new towels twice a day). Downside - This hotel would not be suitable for the infirm as, despite the lifts down to the beach you still need to be pretty good with steepish steps to access them and all other external areas. Also I would be afraid for the safety children as there are one or two areas where dangerous drops are not sufficiently guarded. There are limited worthwhile destinations within reasonable walking distance of the hotel and in any event walking on the roads in that area is a far from relaxing experience. Other info - There is a public bus stop outside the hotel with frequent buses to nearby local towns. Visits to Positano are best by boat from Amalfi as there is very little parking in Positano. Summary - Great place to stay if have a car, are reasonably fit and leave the kids at home.
“You have to visit this place!”
This is the perfect hotel to stay in! The beach, service, rooms, food, You name it its one of a kind! Me and my wife stayed there for a week, and there is not one bad thing i can say about it! Use the shoutle from the hotel to amalfi, its free and you dont have to look for the parking in town.
“Very nice hotel!”
The hotel's location is spectacular with lovely views. It is a 10 minute coach ride into the town of Amalfi, and there are few restaurants located closer than the town. The food at the hotel was adequate, though nothing special. The room was light, bright, clean and comfortable. We were glad that there was an elevator to beach, and the pool areas!
“Great Place, but way overpriced”
Rented two rooms, and neither looked anything like the rooms pictured on the website. Place was way overpriced for what it was. Breakfast quality lousy. Guy who runs the shuttle into the town of Amalfi was wonderful, and has great suggestions for eating out.
“Romantic Resort on the Amalfi Coast”
Il Saraceno was a fabulous resort located on it's own private cove on the Amalfi Coast. The service was phenomenal and the food was excellent. The resort is built into the cliffs overlooking the beautiful, blue sea. Our room was large and comfortable. There were several weddings at the resort while we were there. It would be an ideal location for a wedding. There is a private chapel and various decks and dining rooms for the celebration. We took a boat ride to Capri directly from our resort and it was a quick drive to Positano, Amalfi, and Ravello. The hotel looks just like the pictures posted on the website! We would definitely recommend this resort.
“Wow.”
My wife and I cannot say enough good words about this hotel and its staff. They were attentive and warm and polite. We felt like movie stars when we entered this hotel and continued that way for the whole stay. The rooms were lovely,large and clean. the views were breathtaking as were all the paths around the hotel. Would love to go back again. The restaurant was simply first class. The service , the food, the atmosphere,Ahhhh.
“The World's BEST view”
This is by far the most picturesque place on Earth. The hospitality was amazing! We will most surely be returning. Honestly, I can't say enough about this hotel.
“Beautiful enchanting Amalfi !”
My family of 6 stayed her from july 10 -13,09.My wife & my 5 year old son had visited this hotel 14 years earlier & we can say that Il Saraceno hasn't lost its charm or beauty1 Buffet breakfast was great while absorbing the view of the sea. Our room was clean & air-conditioned. Room service was prompt & friendly. Van driver Giovanni was friendly & professional.The pool was clean &clear.You have to take a van to the beach(4km) or find a atircase next to hotel thart will lead to the brach. My wife & I can't wait to return to Rome & Amalfi(Il Saraceno)

From the beautiful surrounding seascape, to the luxurious rooms,the stunning grounds, the accomadating staff, the delicious restaurant, everything about this hotel is perfection! Such a beautiful, relaxing way to wind up our trip to bella Italia.
