“The most beautiful hotel I've been”
The location is just perfect as it is everything in Positano. We loved the hotel so much... it was heaven! The room was lovely! The view from our terrace was breathtaking. The breakfast was AMAZING... we ate so much... and the stuff is the friendly staff I've ever meet. Our baby vomitted in the boat to capri, and the hotel manager offered to wash her clouds in the hotel private loundry since it was weekend and their loundry service was closed.
“A wonderful 2nd Honeymoon!”
This is a wonderful hotel in a fantastic location. Very romantic and ideal for our 2nd honeymoon. My advice to anyone hiring a car is to contact the hotel first as you park in a general car park for 20 euro's a day, you leave the keys with them and arrange collection whenever you want the car, this was fine, just a bit of warning would have been good. Also you will need a porter to take your bags to the Hotel, we followed the porter down to the hotel, if we hadn't done this I'm not sure how we would have found the hotel. Once the car and bags were sorted we had the best holiday of our lives in a wonderful hotel, with lovely staff and fantastic food.
“Hotel Buca di Bacco, Positano”
A very well run hotel. The blurb did not reveal that it is actually on the beach and it can only be accessed on foot, down stone steps. There is an expensive (Euro 25 per 24 hours) car park at the bottom of a very long winding one way road after the pharmacy on the right across some cobble stones. There is a service to take your baggage at 5 Euro per bag to the hotel which is worth the money. The hotel itself has a family feel to it. The staff are all bright cheerful people who are very helpful. The front desk is very willing to sort out day trips, recommend restaurants and make bookings. The restaurant is excellent and with the ten per cent off for guests pretty good value, although Positano is not recommended for those on a tight budget. The breakfast is excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed our six day stay.
