“Très bon hôtel”
L'hôtel est situé un peu loin du centre vile mais la station de train est à moins de 3 minutes à pied. Car au-delà de ça, c'est tout simplement parfait.

very close to exhibition center ideal for business visit taxi cost = around 700 Kr from airport .... if you choose the correct taxi (950 KR paid when arrived !!) very good hotel & service
“A convenient alternative to expensive central Stockholm”
We stayed at the First Hotel Royal Star in November/December 2010 for 4 nights. We were very surprised by the quality of the hotel for the tariff. Our rooms were large, nicely furnished with 2 double beds and very comfortable. The bathroom facilities were also excellent. A wonderful smorgasbord breakfast, certainly the best of our trip to Europe, was included in the tariff which was very reasonable. The hotel is located near the Swedish International Fair (Alvsjo station- 3 stops from central Stockholm on the Sodertalje line. Trains run frequently. The hotel's setting was almost rural, surrounded by fields of snow. The station is a 3-5 minute walk from the hotel.
“good hotel”
This hotel is clean and well maintained. The bathroom is very clean. It has a wide variety of breakfast items. The distance is less than 5 min. walking from commuter train station. There was no gym but sauna was availible. Access to the solarium with extra-cost may be aroud 10 SEK. There was no porter as supposed to be in a 4-star hotel.

Clean room, well furnished, great breakfast buffet and just down the hill from the commuter train to Stockholm.

overall very good, room comfortable and service from reception was good, only the sauner room too small and not too convenience.
“Worth revisiting”
The hotel is clean and the service good. We had one of the best fish meals in this hotel than we have ever had...and also not too expensive! The hotel is only 9 minutes from the city center by train and is to be recommended.
“Definitely Suprised”
I believe the title says it all. After desperately seeking accommodation in Stockholm for our CEO to attend an important exhibition i came across the First Royal Star Hotel and booked him immediately. After which i consultated our Travel Agent who informed me that they had never heard of the hotel. I then expected to be called upon his arrival to find some where else for him to stay. But i received nothing, upon his return he RAVED about the hotel and mentioned that the food was so good that delegates came from other hotels to eat there. Overall he was very impressed!
“Ideally located when working or attending events at Stockholmsmassan”
Restaurant and bar food was excellent, the staff quite reserved but then very helpful with any request. Room a strange mix of 5 star bathroom and old fashioned bedroom but with the most comfortable bed and spotlessly clean. When fully renovated will be a great hotel. Would certainly choose to stay again when working locally.
