"Great holiday, only let down was the food!"
We visited 10th - 17th September 2014 with our 3 year old boy. We rented a car (free parking at the hotel was an unexpected bonus!) and it was great to be able to get around to other nearby places so I would definitely recommend doing the same! Although the drive from the airport (Murcia San Javier) was around 2 hrs, but pretty much all motorways so pretty easy but long after a flight. Hotel was clean and staff were friendly, as we went slightly out of season the hotel was not too busy so we were always able to get sunbeds at the pool and a table in the restaurant. The food was probably the worst thing about the trip, it was all a buffet which wasn't properly labelled so was never really sure what anything was! Also on multiple occasions the meat looked really undercooked - I got a chicken breast that was raw in the middle!! Aside from the food the hotel was great, lovely swimming pools, close to the beach and lots of other things to do nearby like minigolf and bowling. The area is probably very popular in high season, but it didn't seem overly built up and touristy which was really nice. My top tip would be make sure you brush up on a little bit of Spanish as the staff in some of the restaurants and shops nearby (and one waitress in the hotel restaurant) didn't understand any English, luckily we knew enough Spanish to get by and most of the staff in the hotel spoke English. But it might have been a little challenging outside of the hotel if we didn't know any!

"El b Vista "
re named the hotel El B Vista because these were the only letters on the hotel that lit up at night, it a shame that the hotel has been neglected over the years because im sure at one time it was an excellent conference hotel. (or that's what it looks like) We had an apartment which was very spacious and the beds were comfy. Cleaning was done every three days. We were also half board the food was typical Spanish buffet offering a selection of meat fish salad and pasta food was a bit bland and basic no different to anywhere else ive stayed. I would say the reception staff are not helpful, No English travel guides no information on what time dinner or breakfast starts and only the news channel to watch on Tv.

"Central yet laid back"
The hotel is located a few blocks away from the main restaurant area to one side and the seaside to the other. Basically well positioned of those wishing all the pleasure within walking distance yet crave a good night sleep. Great people at the hotel, nice bar and outside area. Enjoyed three good days there.

"Great Location, good food, helpful staff."
We booked for 4 nights half-board. Within an hour of arrival we knew we would need a room-change as we faced the pool - all noise and chatter travelled upwards and reaching us on floor 5 and higher. The presence of a stage with amplifiers filled us with foreboding. Reception staff were friendly and helpful - with a change offered for the next morning when departures were due. The evening noise of music and amplified voices of animation staff was astonishing! It stopped at 11.30pm. Our change of room went ahead as planned - to an identical room but directly opposite the first, so facing outwards over the car park area to the beach and sea. We heard nothing of the nightly din from the "animation" - it was very peaceful and enjoyable. We enjoyed 4 breakfasts and four dinners - the food was of very good buffet quality (with good variety) as was the food cooked freshly on a separate counter

"January Break in a huge complex!"
We stopped here for a few days in January and it was VERY quiet -only a handful of guests. The apartment was well furnished and clean with a large balcony overlooking the swimming pools. It's a huge tourist complex aimed at families which, in summer when it's busy would be very noisy as the sounds echo around the buildings. Sound insulation was not good - we could hear every movement of the occupants of the apartment above us. Because it was January, there were NO facilities - no bar, restaurant or snack bar. It was also quite a distance to get to those things and supermarkets.
