While we've used this hotel in the past, with better results, this time was not a great experience.
Starting with their difficulty finding the reservation when we arrived, it only got worse after that. We had booked the King Family Suite (2 king beds), but what they gave us was a suite with 2 double beds. The manager insisted that he didn't know how we booked the King Suite as it was not available. Arriving in the suite, we found it to be disgustingly dirty - the floors turned socks black from walking across them, the walls were stained, the bathroom was dirty, the ceiling had water stains, and the bedding on one of the beds was stained - just not the experience I wanted with our 4 grandkids. We ended up checking out, cancelling the reservation, and moving to another local hotel at a much higher rate.
The only positive to the experience was the overall communication with the Manager - he was polite and as helpful as he could be - he offered to call his cleaning crew in to try and get the room cleaned, but fully understood that there were more issues than that. He suggested that if we choose to leave, he'd work with Hotels.com to ensure we were fully refunded. A big thank you for that.
