Atmospheric and pretty island resort
The place is huge, with more pools and restaurants than you can shake a stick at. Lots of nice, large rooms with private balconies. You get a nice view of Benidorm town, which is a couple of Km away. Yes there are lots of golfers, but there are many families and couples just hanging out around the grounds, or in the spa, so it does not feel too golfy. I guess the complex was built twenty to thirty years ago, as you can see signs of age, but the furniture felt new and contemporary so the overall vibe was not sad at all. People were nice, everyone knew what they were doing. Recommended (and I am fussy).

When I checked in it takes around 20 minuets the stuff was not expert, the room service when I ordered they bring me only the plate 😀 there is no spone and fork and and all the facilities , the water was disconnected 2 times, overall the price doesn’t worth it.

Big Quality Hotel Complex
Mainly Spanish Guests. Don't cater or speak much English. Food always cold. All shows n entertainment in Spanish. 3 miles out of Benidorm. Expensive. Good quality resort.

Beautiful hotel with very friendly staff
Wonderful hotel with excellent facilities for couples. The staff were so friendly, especially Sandra and Carmen at the front desk. Nothing was too much trouble for them. My wife is a vegetarian and the choice of food was limited for dinner. Once we made Leanor and Rosa aware of this, my wife enjoyed dinners being specially prepared for her each evening. There are two great golf courses on the door step and easily accomodates large groups. The hotel is well presented, but it is the freindliness of the staff who really made our holiday.

Beautiful Hotel
We had an amazing stay at the The Level at the Melia Villaitana and couldn't fault anything. The room was beautiful, food was superb but the whole place was so tranquil we had a truly relaxing few days.

Everything you expect from a 5*
This is the perfect place to visit if you want to relax and eat good food. The only downside is that I booked a room for a couple and there were 2 beds pushed together so we were constantly falling through the gap in the middle of the night! We extended our checkout until 7pm for 60 euros which I didn't think was bad.

Booked an extra week so stayed two weeks in all. Impressive pools with Bali beds available and plenty of loungers, towels, etc. Free non-alcoholic drinks from 11 to 11. Alcohol and canapés free from 1800 to 2000 - serve yourself. Plenty of entertainment if you want it in the sister hotel alongside and a choice of food venues - although noisy and a bit crowded there with hordes of children - I love children but not in that volume! So we stayed inside the Level most of the time.

Beautiful property a short drive out of Benidorm
The Level is an absolutely beautiful hotel with stunning grounds, a number of swimming pools and of course the golf course. We didn't try all of the restaurants but breakfast was excellent and the service at the main bar near the entrance was very good too. You can't help but feel relaxed here and in my opinion it is head and shoulders above all of the other hotels in the area.

No air conditioning at a five star hotel!
WARNING - Room "Air conditioning/ heating" (as described on their website) does not mean guests can regulate room temperatures. During my 5 days/4 nights stay at end of September with temperature in mid20sC, the air conditioning system was turned off. After I notified the front desk on 3 separate occasions and spoke with the manager on duty who said she would investigate, nothing was done to address the uncomfortable room temperature. I dreaded sleeping in the room. We got through the nights by sleeping on top of the covers and leaving the doors wide open to let in cool air. My experience with this hotel management worsened after returning from my stay. I contacted their "Quality Department" to notify them of my experience. Their initial response was "the temperature suddenly decreased and it was for this reason that we decided to turn off the air conditioning for a few days, after receiving comments from other guests who thought it was cold." When I pointed out that mid20C is the average temperature for Alicante, Spain in September, questioned why my complaint of the warm room was dismissed, and highlighted their website's claim to offering "air conditioning/heating", their response was it was not reasonable for me to expect "air conditioning/heating" would be available 365 days a year.

From start to finish we have had a very enjoyable stay - very rest full the staff are very helpful and friendly particularly Davide serving our drinks and Javier helping me with my return flight when experiencing problems. From 7-8 there are complimentary drinks and canopies served which is a very nice touch. My room was wonderfully comfortable over looking the Golf Course I really have had a wonderful break.

Good Hotel for getting away from it all
We arrived at the Hotel at 1.00 pm but were allowed to check in to our room which gave us the afternoon to chill out and settle in. Our room was on the ground floor overlooking the Level pool area and had a lovely spacious balcony. We spotted in the room directory that the mini bar contents were complimentary for level guests so we enjoyed a beer, a bottle of wine and a couple of waters from it HOWEVER on check out our bill included a charge of nearly €40 for these items. When we queried this we were told the 'offer' had expired a couple of weeks ago and where had we seen the offer? This put a slight downer on what had been a lovely weekend 25th silver wedding anniversary celebration stay for us. The receptionist did eventually remove the charge and accepted that the details in the room should have been updated with regards to mini bar pricing!! Not a very good lasting impression however for us of this 5 star Hotel!!

Peaceful hotel
I have just returned after a three night stay at this hotel. I had a suite which was wonderful, very spacious. I wanted a peaceful relaxing experience and that is was I got.

Tranquil and relaxing
The resort is beautiful, massive rooms well equipped and a free and well-stocked minibar (although it was not really replenished as promised). The beds are twins which is always a bit annoying if you are travelling in a couple but seems to be a popular option in Europe. The view of the bay from the balcony is stunning and the balcony is very generously sized. The facilities in the Levels Lounge are very good and we enjoyed the complimentary cocktail hour each night, with a nice variety of drinks and snacks. The pools are scrupulously clean, and everything in the resort seems well maintained. The heated pool is a great touch. Overall we really loved the resort and would definitely return. Although it was not peak season and therefore was generally quieter anyway, the adults only aspect is such a plus and I wish that more hotels would do it.

Ideal location with good motorway link and access
We had a superb Junior Suite on the seventh floor with lovely views from an open balcony across the golf coarse and to Benidorm and the sea beyond. Also we overlooked the well kept gardens and pools that made up the 'level', however the whole complex was well developed and of interest just like a village as the advert suggests. There were several resturants available but if you go out of season some are closed however the 24 hour room service was superb as was the quality. The Hotel we rated highly and would certainly stay there again.

A gem away from the town
Having stayed at the Level for a week, I honestly wish I'd booked 2 weeks! The adults-only area was very peaceful, with plenty of sun loungers and pools for everyone to use. When we did want to go out into Benidorm, the staff were more than happy to help you make your way into town, phoning the taxi for you and suggesting destinations. A taxi into town will generally set you back 10-15 EUR, usually closer to 10.

Relaxing and welcoming with a touch of class
We have stayed here several times - its got beautiful views and very comfortable rooms - its proberly one of the best hotels ive stayed in - and definitely one of the best I have stayed in. It is a short cab ride to benidorm or Finestrap - costing about 12 Euros each way - but sometimes nice for a change of scenery - this year there was more restaurants opened on site - which again were very nice and fairly reasonable - we had A meal in the Italian and also in the BBQ area . The staff are extremely friendly smart and obliging - even some remembering names and preferred drinks - this hotel is a cut above the rest by a long way

Wonderful all round stay
Just returned from a wonderful 5 day stay at The Level hote. Stunning hotel which overlooks the craziness of Benidorm. Rooms, gardens, pool were all first class with little added touches like a stocked mini bar and pillow menu in the room. Restaurants all had wonderful and a good range of food and drinks. Canapes on the evening was a lovely touch from the hotel and the staff serving them were very helpful. In fact all the staff at the Level were incredibly helpful considering our lack of Spanish. Spa and gym classes very good and the adults only part of the hotel made it very quite and relaxing. A truly wonderful place to stay, with no bad words to say about the hotel, facilities or staff.

Great location and friendly staff
The staff at The Level made you feel as if you were the only guest at the hotel. I found the service very friendly and professional. They just couldn't do enough for you. Will definitely be returning to this hotel.

Slipped a little
We have stayed at this hotel many times now. Always been great. Must admit we were a little disappointed this time. I feel the level of service has dropped. As I am a keen golfer I loved the service too and from the clubhouse. Unfortunately this is not the case anymore. Charging for car parking at the hotel is a bit cheeky also. 5 star??? Still, overall a pleasant stay, but, those little extras that made me feel like i was in a 5star hotel were not there this time. Pity.

Flott hotell med gode senger. Men under lavsesong så var det mye arbeider på hotellet, så man følte man bodde på en byggeplass med mye støy. Vi ba om å få flytte rom - hvorav det neste morgen startet opp motorsag for kapping av trær der også…. Så vi endte med å forlate hotellet, da vi var på hotell nettopp for å kunne slappe av ifbm at huset vårt ble renovert. Samt at majoriteten av fasilitetene var stengt ned. : Ingen spabehandling, hovedbassenget ikke oppvarmet og frokostbuffet ble erstattet med liten cafe med begrenset utvalg til frokost. Servicen var god. Bra garasjeanlegg. Men hotellet skulle ha opplyst og gitt gjestene mulighet til å velge om de ønsket å bo i dette bråket!

Väldigt långsam inchechning, bra rum och rent, våra 3 rum helt utan utsikt rakt mot en dåligt skött cypresshäck och 2 pinnstolar på våra terrasser, ej enligt bilder på er hemsida. I loungen ingick ej öl men vin o cava, läsk, kaffe o vatten utöver det bara olika typer av oliver ( stor skillnad mot The Level på Melia i Alicante ) Hela hotellanläggningen superfin och jättevackert men långa avstånd, bra spa men dyrt 25 Eu för 1 timme.

Buenos días Miguel, sentimos las molestias causadas pero el The Level permanece cerrado hasta semana santa, per esta razón no existe ninguna zona por solo adulto en esta temporada. Si accede en la pagina de Melià.com/TheLevel.villaitana puedes comprobar que unicamente está abierto a partir del 15 de Junio 2018. El entorno y la habitación del hotel fantástico. Pero el servicio, deja mucho k desear.Pagar más no merece la pena,eliges solo adultos y en el comedor estas con niños, k no pasa nada pero por eso no merece la pena, el buffet tiene poco variación y la comida esta fría.La zona The level, la cafetera no funciona la mayoría del tiempo y falta hasta agua.En conclusión , deja mucho k desear.
