On the flat for taking a stroll up the coast or past the marina to the centre of town (15 min). Pool area very sunny for most of the day. 10 min walk to tram station for days out to Calpe or Benidorm (cheap). Noisy resturant.

Older hotel but great location to port.
Amazing experience, great facilities, fridge but no coffee making facilities in room, nice location near the port. Friendly staff and nice view from 8th floor overlooking the pool. Nice breakfast selection of continental and cooked. Nice pastries.

Great Location and value.
The Hotel has excellent facilities attentive and friendly staff ,with a high level of cleanliness. The food was excellent and plenty of choices. The Restaurant was extremely busy making it quite noisy at times with staff clearing tables. I did not like the fact that only bottled water was available in the evening. It seems wasteful and expensive way of drinking water. The Hotel is also undergoing repairs to balconies and the Hotel certainly needs updating in certain areas. Overall though, very positive experience

Last year, the hotel reception was indifferent and unhelpful. I noticed a major improvement this year. The reception staff were courteous and helpful. This made a big difference.

Hotel is clean, food is fantastic, drinks of a decent quality. Staff are friendly and helpful. My only criticism would be the evening entertainment. Most of the external entertainers that came in were quite poor. Could also do with some more toilets around the pool area. However, we really enjoyed our stay!

Very comfortable, clean, rooms. Location close to Marina provided many alternative dining options, plenty of free parking within 3 minutes walk of the hotel.

The staff were very helpful with any enquiries that we made. Food was good and we were not on full board but did have an evening meal there which was very good indeed entertainment was very good and we enjoyed the daytime activities.

Stayed recently with a party of 15 people. At least 6 people had items/money stolen from their rooms. Only the cleaners can enter and the hotel refused to acknowledge it. Beware of booking here

Generally a good stay. Food was ok & Rooms are average but very clean. They did however decide to do maintenance work on the external of the building - loud works and prevention of access to the pool area. Also - requested a late check-out, to be told it's not available but when my wife asked it was all ok..

Still good, but not like the old times.
It is not so good as it used to be but that is quite possibly caused by covid, the restrictions and measures that have to be in place and the way the hotel responds to the measures. Our main disappointment now is the food, it was always something extra spacial that made it stand out from the crowd and the reason why over the years we have been over 20 times. Now it is just another par for the course hotel - Nothing wrong with that, we still like it and will go back (especially after covid, should that day ever arrive), but I think we will spend "Special" occasions somewhere else and save the Port Denia for quick breaks from now on.

We were impressed by the wonderful organisation in the restaurant, despite the large number of guests. The waiters and helpers seemed to really love their work. The food also was very good, considering the price we paid.

Good location
The hotel is well situated near the Marina and not too far from the town centre. Plenty of choice from the breakfast buffet and if you're not half board or all inclusive the dinner buffet is only 12.50 euros per person. Plenty of choice but vegetarians beware, whilst there is a comprehensive list of the lunch and dinner buffet menu, and the vegetarian options are marked, some of the "vegetarian" options contain fish! There are no labels near the food items either to indicate what they contain, meat, fish, gluten, dairy etc. This would be useful. Rooms at the front of the hotel are larger, rooms at the rear of the hotel are slightly smaller but have a balcony. One other negative aspect for us was that our room, first floor and to the left, over the bar area was subject to noise pollution nightly from the entertainment. This continues until 12am! It wasn't any quieter on floor 4 in a balcony room-we had relatives staying at the same time who said they too found the noise level quite disruptive. Of course if you're enjoying the entertainment then the noise won't be a problem! The hotel staff were very friendly and attentive, they dealt with anymissues or queries promptly.

Another great time had.
I love this hotel and have stayed well over a dozen times. The staff are fantastic, there's always a wide choice of food and the cleanliness is spot on. The hotel group has recently changed and the Port Denia is in line for a refurb which to be honest is over due. It is starting to look and feel tired since it's last refurb about 20 years ago but for me that does not take away from the overall experience.

Hotel is very poorly maintained. The food is horrible. The beds needed to be changed about 5 years ago, so don't expect to sleep well during you stay.

Tired but clean
A large, tired hotel which is ready for an update. Rooms are clean and not a bad size. Staff are friendly. Breakfast is plentiful but not to a great standard. Croissants, bread, were not fresh and tea/coffee from machines (all that is available) is undrinkable. It's clean and warm but you wouldn't want to pay to much to stay there, there are better hotels in Denia for not much more money

Locked in the car park
Apart from being locked in the secure car park and no means of contacting the guy who operates the electric gate (I had to scale an 8ft wall to get out and ask him to open the gate) It was a nice stay.

We spent 2 nights at this Hotel.
We spent 2 nights at this Hotel. Saga customers do make up a large number of guests. The hotel was very clean and the food was good.... Not spectacular... But good when they are catering for large numbers. The bar had fair prices and the indoor pool could do with being a bit warmer. We wouldn't think twice about going back.
