“Great place to relax.”

My Husband & I were so pleased with Hostal San Juan. It was exactly what we wanted. A clean, quiet hotel close to the beach, a pool & in a relaxing area. We got exactly that & more. The rooms are basic (no kettle or kitchen sink) but have plenty of Spanish character with beautiful sea views. All the staff were very friendly, fun and helpful even with us making a mess of the Spanish language. The restaurant had such amazing food, we ate there every night of our stay and when it was too windy for the beach the pool area was perfect for a relaxing sit in the sun with a drink from the bar. It does pay to have a translation book if required just to make things a bit easier & its also fun trying.

“Ensemble global”

Hotel dans l'ensemble agréable. Les + : employés agréable, chambre avec vue sur la mer. Nourriture bonne Les - : personne ne parle Français malgré le drapeau .. La moitié des employés ne parlent même pas anglais. Les chambres sont agréables mais très mal isolés

“Pourrait être super”

La chambre faisait partie d' un petit bâtiment à côté de la piscine et d'une terrasse sur laquelle les gens pouvaient prendre une collation, un repas ou tout bonnement papoter sans limite d'heure. Les chambre n'ayant pas d'air conditionné il y avait l'obligation de laisser les fenêtres ouvertes et les clients étaient pratiquement sous les fenêtre de certaines fenêtres donc impossibilité de dormir avant au moins minuit. Le personnel ne parlent que l'espagnol, ni français, ni anglais. Les heures de repas étaient à l'espagnol. Donc pas de petits déjeuners avant 9h, de déjeuners avant 14 h et de repas du soir avant 21 h.
