Nicely appointed in a spectacular setting
I thoroughly enjoyed our one-night stay at Pedraladda. It was raining a bit when we arrived but our room was comfortable (the bed could have been a little bit softer) with a balcony that had a great view of the pool, the sea and the castle for which the town is named. The sky cleared and I enjoyed a refreshing swim in their beautiful pool. Their restaurant wasn’t open for dinner so we had to go down the road where we had very nice fresh grilled sea bream, but the breakfast buffet the next morning was completely adequate.

Location was perfect with sea views. The team, from the Manager to the reception staff like Diego, Luciano, Ornella and the General Manager were all extremely helpful. This made a big difference. Rooms were nice and spacious. Wonderful stay.

This is NOT a 4 start hotel!
Mainly, these pictures are kind of misleading. I’m sure all of these has taken when the hotel was opened back in the day. Now everything is old. Rooms where fine but NO CHANCE this is a 4 start hotel. Room fridge wasn’t cooling properly, bathroom shower head had no water pressure, no proper parking(off road street parking) . Beach close by the hotel isn’t the best(mostly rocks). We messaged the hotel upon our booking but only got response couple of days before our arrival and charged us extra for the dog even though it was their fault. If you planning to visit Sardinia, my recommendation is go to south of the island.

nice room with balcony overlooking the ocean and town. The room had not been used for a long time so the bed was freezing and the room shoudl have been prewarmed but this was a small issue. the room was a good price. the pool is very cold for swimming. There is no kettle for boiling water in the room for tea. it is in a good location with an easy walk into town. great breakfast!

Friendly, traditional hotel
We stayed here in Aug/Sept 2016 for 2 weeks. All of the staff were amazing, always friendly despite working long hours in this hot climate. Our cleaner even stopped her car in the street to chat to us. As lovers of Italian cuisine, we chose to eat in the hotel most evenings as the food was excellent and good value. Again the restaurant staff were friendly and very helpful. The pool and terrace was nicely kept and there were always loungers available as guests did not reserve them with their towels. The hotel and grounds were clean and nicely kept throughout. The bar had views of the castle and sea and often had good live music in the evenings. We didn't use the private beach much as getting into the sea across the rocks was a bit tricky

Clean hotel with friendly staff and marv views
We stayed for 6 nights on B&B basis. The hotel had a great location within Castelsardo village, with easy access to restaurants and shops. Absolutelly stunning views- make sure you book a sea-view room! Private rocly beach- don't forget rubber slippers and snorkeling set. Friendly staff and very neat room maid. Would rent a car next time but if your intention is just to relax, don't need it. A bus to a sandy beach in Lu Bagnu leaves just outside the hotel. Lovely experience!

Stunning sunset at spacious hotel
I stayed here with a group of friends. The terrace has amazing views of Castelardo especially at sunset. The room was clean and spacious and check in was fairly easy. The pool looked good although we didn't get a chance to use it. Quite a good selection of food at breakfast. Not much space for parking though and the wifi is only available in common areas.

hotel was closing. ... no staff...the pool furniture advertised been put away and replaced with old uncomfortable loungers....pool was filthy....lunch menu was rridiculously small..... staff seemed not to be bothered as end of season... except the receptionists couldn't fault them. Rooms were clean..... but just the feeling I was an inconvenience when asking for a drink.... ' sunny bar' ..not open..instead a tiny one which was closed most of the time or you had to wait for ages or aska receptionist! ! so not as advertised ...

Nice hotel
First two weeks in september I spend with my husband 2 wonderful weeks in Castelsardo at hotel Pedralada and the weather was nice 31C. Sardinia it's lovely and I advice you to rent a car for 133 euro per week. Hotel Pedraladda it's 95 km from Olbia aeroport but if you call the hotel they will arrange a taxi for 100 euro for 2 person or 120 euro for 4 persons. Pedraladda it's a nice clean hotel in quiet area but not far from the centre only 10 minutes walk and has it's private little beach ; the food it's different every evening. The hotel arrange every day trips for 50 euros. The water park it's not far away. In the city centre it's a very good restaurant CAFE DE PARIS we ate there every evening tasty sea food meals and house wine. I will return to Pedraladda hotel.

Good hotel with lovely views
The hotel is about 5-10 minutes walk fom the town of Castelsardo. It has a small beach with sun-beds and parasols. The pool is lovely, you must wear a swimming hat though. The best rooms are sea view rooms as the other view is of the cliff. Not suitable for peopl with mobility issues due to the number of stairs. Breakfast is fantastic, buffet style, masses of choice. Lunch s available at the Sunny Bar and dinner in the restaurant. The menu changes daily but only offers a few choices, the food is good though. The hotel is very clean. Water pressure is variable so showering can take time! The staff are lovely. The rooms are good. The view is stunning. Wifi is available in the lobby and by the pool.

Decent enough for a 3 star hotel. The staff are good, the room is clean. The building and the bathroom is a bit dated. The view from the terrace is lovely. Make sure you choose a room with sea view, otherwise you look out to a wall 2 meters away.

Not bad
Stayed here for one night - elevator to second floor, but note a number of rooms have more steps to them and then steps down into te room. Paid extra for sea view which was worth it, note some rooms open to joined balcony, some have private balconies. Wifi is in reception only (not even in breakfast room). Breakfast was good, great selection. Wall to town is 20 minutes but a nice walk and felt safe at night. The lovely lady at the front desk was very helpful and spoke English to us for Which we were grateful. As we only stayed one night, dd not pay extras for bus/swimming etc. also has a private beach which was very nice. Room smelt a bit damp and electricity off when out of room so while we had a fridge, not much use. Toiletries are minimal. Overall good, but not great. Would have stayed longer as town was nice.

Fantastic hotel!
We had a great stay at hotel Pedraladda. Beginning from the lovely rooms, really nice staff(the waiters and the girls at the reception couldn't be more polite), delicious breakfast and great view of the sea and Castelsardo castle, ending on a lovely room with clean and modern bathroom. The only things that were on the down side are water pressure under the shower(arghh!), free wi-fi only in the lobby area and compulsory swimming caps in the pool(first time ever I had to wear one in the outdoors swimming pool). The hotel is a short walk from the town center and have quite a few parking spaces along the street beside the hotel. My overall impression was positive and I would definitely stay again. Grazie mille!

Really good hotel in quiet place
Hello,Just coming back from Pedraladda hotel, where we stayed for 5 nights. Hotel is well located, in a quiet area, but very close to the town. The view is awesome, we had a room with sea view, although didn't payed for it, because it was extra season. Staff really helpful and nice, always smiling at us. Room was very clean, towels were changed every day. Breakfast was good and for all tastes, in my oppinion ( eggs, cheese, tomatoes, ham, yogurt, cereals, fruit juices, many sweets, coffee, cappuccino, hot chocolate, water, different types of bread, fruits).

First time in Sardinia
Stayed at this hotel just out of season (16 to 23 May) - so the atmosphere in the hotel was quiet despite a football team staying there as well. Situation: Castelsardo is a lovely compact hill town with a harbour on the west end and a small cosy beach at the north-east end. The Pedraladda is situated facing the sea, on a residential road at the north-east end of the town, in walking distance (5 min.) of a cosy sandy cove with interesting rocky parts and rock pools to explore. The hotel is also in walking distance of the centre of town with supermarkets, bars and restaurants. Hotel: Staff really friendly and helpful, lovely and spacious areas to sit in the foyer (with little library) and outside on terraces facing the sea. Very good sized clean outdoor swimming pool. Lovely big rooms. spotlessly clean, tons of storage space, a mini fridge, safe, spacious spotlessly clean bathroom, TV erratic reception but hey you don't go to Sardinia to watch the box! Breakfast: good range of choice from cooked (scrambled eggs and frankfurter type sausages) to cereals, yoghurts, fruit juices, breads and cheese/ham, tomato and lettuce, local fruit, cheese and a selection of cakes and pastries. Also some gluten free items. The selection was always the same so it is up to you to make up and vary your breakfast menu. Parking: on the road (quiet residential road) in front of the hotel or on grass verge opposite hotel.

Hotel a little tired but clean ,staff excellent
We had a lovely stay at Hotel Pedraladda ,but would not recommend it for anyone with mobility problems-lots of steps. The village itself is not far from the hotel but again very hilly. We went at the beginning of May 2014 and there was lots of work being done in preparation for the summer season and a lot of the facilities at the hotel was not available e.g. bar - although the staff would always get what you wanted from the kitchen or bar.

Best thing was the Weather !
Enjoyed our holiday overall but that was due to the fabulous weather and swimming in the sea. Castelsardo is fine for a few days but after that MOVE ON. Nothing to do in hotel so if the weather is bad your snookered. If you are looking for a room with a view ALL the back rooms face into a cliff three feet from your window ! Staff try to be helpful, but did'nt know much about anything really. Will holiday again in Sardinia but not here.

Great hotel for a family
Lovely hotel, good location, ten minutes walk to town centre. Good food in hotel, Pleasant staff. Booked a basic double room, but when arrived we were upgraded to a sea view room at no extra cost, Very nice. Entertainment disappointing, especially if you dont speak the italian language, wasnt translated into english, Entertainment catered more for children rather than adults. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Good basic tourist hotel with helpful, friendly staff in the main and an enthusiastic animation team, great view ( with sea view room) avoid rooms facing out back, looking straight into a cliff face. No real beach ( pebbly) out front ( across a quite road) and about a 15 minute ( can be steep) walk into the main sqare. Would suit families very well as very good animation team and kids club. Only had breakfast at the hotel so can't comment on the kitchen but breakfast adequate and plenty of good restaurants in the town. Rooms basic but tidy and a reasonable size and all have a good size fridge for storing your drinks etc etc only complaint was the shower ( no bath) in my room as I have seen more powerful watering cans. The pool was strange as you go from 3ft deep to the abyss ie no gentle slope to the deep end but plenty of space for loungers and sun bathing and a small paddling pool for the tiny ones. Overall no real complaints and an ideal family hotel if anything a little on the pricey side for drinks, snacks etc etc but this seemed to be in line with the rest of the town. For communications, 1 hour from Alghero airport ( ryanair) and about 1.30 hr from Olbia airport ( easyjet), both roads not the best but I would plump for Alghero. We tavelled as a couple and would come again. Ciao

Excellent value hotel in a beautiful setting
As a British couple in our twenties we really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Pedraladda. Located within walking distance of picturesque Castelsardo there were plenty of options for dinner. The seafood was excellent and a range of pasta and pizza options made for a good value meal. The local wines were also a good option and reasonably priced. The pool at the hotel was a decent size with plenty of sunbeds. We hired a car as the sandy beaches along the coast were a drive away and it was good to see more of the island. A word of warning though - the lock on our hire car was picked although we hadn't left any valuables in the vehicle so did not loose anything. It is worth paying for the additional car insurance offered either online or at the airport as every scratch is charged at a large excess if not. Its worth it for the peace of mind. Hotel Pedraladda provided breakfast with a good range of choices although the cooked options were not very appealing. There was a good selection of pastries, bread, jams, cheese and ham to set you up for the day, as wall as cake... The hotel would be a struggle for anyone elderly or with a disability as the website doesn't indicate how many steps there are to get to the bedrooms. Fine for a fit person but could be a problem for anyone with mobility problems. Overall the hotel provided a great value holiday in a beautiful setting.

What a lovely stay
The stay at the Pedraladda was extremely pleasant. The staffs is always trying their best to help. The sea view was a treat and the restaurants are just a 10 minute walk from the hotel. Castelsardo is ideally located to drive to either the east or west side of the island and see the most amazing coastlines and beaches. I would go back tomorrow.

Definitely book a sea view room!
Comfortable hotel in a good location. Close to Castelsardo (we walked into town most nights for dinner). Dissappointing in that the access to the private beach had collapsed, so we swam elsewhere. Definitely book a sea view room. Rooms at the back of the hotel look directly into the property behind or a wall. Hotel staff were reasonably friendly. Breakfast was the only meal we ate here. Good selection of fruit, yoghurt, cereals, pastries etc. Generally an enjoyable stay.

(Alles in kleinen Plastikbehältern)

Hotel Perladata, lokalizacja z pieknym widokiem.
Pobyt koniec sierpnia 2021, we dwoje, para, pokoj z widokiem na morze. Zalety: fajne położenie, obok jedna malutka plaża, nie daleko nastepna. Spacerkiem 10 min do centrum Castelsardo.
