Don’t be fulled by a 4 star status
This hotel is based in a nice secluded location but is very basic. Rooms are tired and tiny. Breakfast finishes at 10am which is ridiculous and they start cleaning it and removing food at 9.30-9.40am already. One day staff approached me at 9.55am to advise that breakfast is finished and i should be get going! Overall it feels that I am there interrupting their work rather than staff is here to help a resting guest. They constantly move chair and tables , its so loud in that room, very unpleasant, too many staff people walking and talking for no practical reason, I was watching them every day trying to understand why are they there. Breakfast is limited to 2 choices of eggs, 2 choices cheese and ham and tomatoes and cucumbers. Few pasties and fruits. Thats it. Lunch is served until 2.30pm and again staff abruptly told me “kitchen is closed” at 2.20pm refusing to take my order. Very few people speak english. I called to the reception Asking for some simple amenities that room was missing, they told me to come to reception to pick this up…. Somehow there a lot of mosquitos and nothing in the room to protect you from it, I Am Leaving with 35 bites on my body, yes I counted. Beach is tiny and water is not deep so you need to drive to another location yo have a proper swim. None of entertainment was offered unlike other 4 star resorts in Sardinia. Overall not worth the money, you can find nicer places in the island -

A marvellous stay at Hotel Corte Rosada, the food and drink was top quality and all the staff were excellent, extremely helpful and polite. The hotel was situated in a lovely peaceful location and facilities very good. Our only niggle was a slightly hard and worn mattress. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and would highly recommend.

Beautiful hotel and grounds with Friendly staff. Great food. Lovely private beach with amazing view. Gardeners woke us up on first morning at 7am strimming for an hour; however manager dealt with our complaint giving us a free meal and bottle of wine. Only criticism was I paid for a sea view room which it was not as it was on ground floor.

Perfect place to chill
The hotel is much more beautiful than in the pictures, staff is lovely , the food is good especially at the grill restaurant and cocktails are top star rated! In overall we had an amazing time and will definitely come back

BIG WIFI problems. We were unable to have any WiFi in our room or anywhere on the property. Another guests told me he thought it was worse for all Apple products. The hotel said their Wifi was spotty??????? The cleaning lady in our room was great. The outdoor pool and beach area was great. The outdoor areas around the rooms needed attention. For instance the hand railing were always covered with dirt. Impossible to go up or down using the railing without getting filthy hands,

Property is in a lovely, serene location with great access to many activities. Beautiful pool and spa. Nice private beach. Hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating. However, it felt more like a 3 star hotel. Breakfast and dinner are buffet only. I was underwhelmed by the selection. No other real options for food unless you go off property. Bar has food, but only during non- breakfast/dinner hours. Room was clean,but very small and sparse with limited to no amenities.

Very nice hotel located in the woods. Generally clean and pleasant. Very airy and spacious restaurant. The breakfast is pretty limited, but this is the typical standard of any hotel in Sardinia (and we have been to a few 4 star hotels in Sardinia). Very narrow strip of beach next to it, but we have not used it, instead we went to gorgeous Pelosa beach 1h drive to the north. Rooms are not large but ok for few nights.

4star rating is justified in some but not all aspects. Hotel and grounds are lovely and well kept and clean. Breakfasts are very good. Evening buffet is less of an atttaction - their pizzas as an alternate were very good. Very quiet once dinner ended - very quiet. Having a rental car was great - allowed us to take day trips - lot of interesting places to visit - and to eat in Alghero which is 15-20 minutes away.

We booked 2 nights here for our anniversary and left our two young children with their grandparents. All we wanted was peace and quiet and we certainly got that! 2 days of lounging by the pool and reading our books, it was bliss. The staff were polite and attentive. We’d mentioned in booking that it was our anniversary and we were put in a room with an amazing view of the pool and the sea. A complimentary bottle of prosecco was delivered to our room shortly after we checked in. Breakfast is as you’d expect a buffet breakfast to be. A great mix of hot and cold - cakes, fruits and meats, bacon and eggs. Coffees can be ordered for free from the waiters. Lunch can be either fresh from the grill or a selection of sandwich type snacks. Evening food in the restaurant is nice and prices are reasonable. Drinks from the bar are a little expensive. The area is lovely and the view from the private beach is spectacukar but isn’t much around so if you want to venture out of the resort you’ll need a car. The only criticism I could possible make is that the website states the rooms are soundproofed when they are most definitely not. I was woken in the night by our neighbours brushing their teeth and it sounded like they were at the foot of my bed. We could hear every word that was said. We did have an adjoining room so maybe that was part of the reason. On the whole I would really recommend this place for a relaxing short break. It was everything we’d hoped for.

Beware the Crickets!!!
Very nice hotel with friendly helpful staff, the hotel is located in a nature reserve with accomodation set in woodland. Great facilities with an outdoor pool and private beach, however the noise from the insect wildlife was a deafening constant 75dB; unrelenting, and without sound proofing to the hotel rooms left us sleep deprived. Disappointingly we were forced to checkout after only one night from our week booking. Not sure if this is an all year round issue, but check before you book!

Beautiful area, nice staff, but somewhat hard bed and some issues with the air conditioning in the room. Plenty of possibilities for activities on the water, and for trekking. 20 minutes drive to Alghero. Great pool with saltwater near the beach.

Nice quiet hotel next to the sea.
We had a great time here! Upgraded to a superior room on arrival was fantastic. I would recommend this hotel only if you have a hire car as it is quite remote. We went into alghero every night for dinner which was just a 10 minute drive. Also some lovely beaches nearby with parking, toilets and snack bars.

Great Place To Relax
after two weeks many cities throughout Europe, we though it would be a nice experience to fro to a place by the beach to relax. Corte Rosada offered just that, we had a great time, staff went out of their way to help and provided excellent services. Food was excellent. I will definitely go back.

Nice hotel, just like in the photos
Location - good distance from the airport and into Alghero. Requires a car though as there's not much around the hotel. Hotel provides shuttle car/van to 3 other beaches nearby, well worth a visit even though there's a private beach at the hotel doorstep. The driver is pleasant and polite. Venue - Really pleasant hotel with fantastic views, clean rooms, well maintained salt pool, tennis courts and garden. Book early for sea/pool views as rooms are limited due to orientation of the buildings. Most rooms are garden view. On-site Dive centre that offers snorkeling, diving and excursions. Reasonably priced and good fun. Nice and friendly team as well. Staff/Restaurant - Friendly and helpful staff. And very pleasant too. Wanted to try out a restaurant in Alghero and asked the reception to help with booking and they did an excellent job. When there's no answer at the restaurant, they said to come back later to try again. We didn't and just went ahead to the restaurant and the hotel called me to confirm our reservation. Didn't expect that! Arranged a birthday dinner/cake, and they did make it very wonderful with surprises. Thank you!! In terms of restaurant, there's 2 restaurants and an American bar which serve good pizzas and paninis. Food in the restaurants are good, with different menus each day. Breakfast is included and we've enjoyed it. Lots of fruits and other continental selections.

The backdrop for this hotel could not have been more picturesque! The pool is amazing and the beach is feet in front of you. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The room, however, not what I would have wanted for a resort getaway. Although it was clean, the bed was very uncomfortable. We were even upgraded due to our air conditioning not working, but even the suite had the same crappy bed. The distance to Alghero and other cities/restaurants is accessible via bus, but the hotel does not have its own shuttle and it costs a lot to get around if you are not using public transit. The bus system does reach the hotel, but is not very frequent.

Stayed here for two weeks half board very expensive €14 euros for a drink also had to pay extra for water yes water bill on checkout even though the waiter was just pouring it as soon as you sat down for evening meal . Also two night was forced to eat Sardinia traditional cusine which most people didn't like when expressed with staff I was told it was a treat and no other option was available even tho I had half board so had pizza two nights and that was not included in half board need car if stay here but in would not return also very noisy but room was cleaned well daily if they can charge you for something they will stay at your risk AVOID . Don't be fooled by the scenary

When we walked into reception, all seemed well. Nice pool,nice people, nice bar and nice reception building. We were impressed. But then they showed us our room. The first thing we noticed right away was the amount of flies and mosquitos swarming outside on the door and walls. Then we walked into our room, and inside there were also tons of flies and mosquitos! Our first hour there was spent killing bugs. We ended up leaving to get bug candles and spray. There were areas with small blood splats on the walls,the curtains had brownish mold looking stains on them,the bed sheets had black hairs on them, so we had to ask for the bed to be changed, horrid smell near the desk, and the toilet constantly had foul smells lingering out of it. The shower had definitely not been cleaned before us, soapscum and smudgy fingerprints were all over the shower door and walls. We asked for a different room, but they were completely booked. Very dirty place. Wifi was bad. Dinner requires reservation. Breakfast was decent.

Relaxing resort with a beautiful setting
This hotel is tucked away in a quiet spot a short distance away from town and airport, surrounded by beautiful Sardinian beach and nature. There are lots to do around there if you are outdoor type, if not then it's easy access to Alghero town (you need a car.) We opted for half board as it was really a good price, breakfast was good, though may feel limited if you are after "English" breakfast type (i.e. mushrooms and fried egg). Dinner menu changed everyday, which was a nice surprise, and had reasonable selection (we were never bored) and food wasn't bad, included regional touch and loads of fresh seafood. Room was comfortable and cleaning was more than sufficient. Room size was slightly on a small side but in our experience all Italian hotels are a bit like that. Superb Wifi connection!

We got a very good deal for a week in October and the hotel really wasnt worth more than what we paid for. On check-in, there was only 1 staff member who left us standing there for 20mins waiting to check into our room. The first room we were shown had 1 completely mouldy wall so we took all our luggage back to the main reception area to get a new room. Taking again all our luggage to the second room, it turned out this room wasn't cleaned or made. Again, down the steps with all our suitcases, hungry and tired and very annoyed at that stage, we were given another room and did the same spiel yet again. Besides from the very drainy smell in the bathroom, the room was okay so we decided to settle in. For a 4 star hotel, the rooms are very very basic, the bathroom wasnt even stocked with soap or showel gel and the cobwebs havent been removed in quite some time. An overall very disappointing start to our holidays. The onsite restaurant didnt help matters either, with staff who are so set in their ways that they couldnt cope with us not having made a reservation for the restaurant albeit only 10 out of 150 tables were taken as not very many guests stayed in the hotel. The menu didnt have any prices displayed, we asked twice for the wine list, our waiter was condescending and the whole thing just soulless. We quickly decided to not eat there again. The facilities on the premises are very good though. There are two tennis courts and they rent out decent rackets and balls. You can also rent a canoe or cayak for free for 30mins (10Euro after that) and mountain bikes for 10Euro per day. Other than that there's the pool (freezing cold water) and the sea (warmer than the pool). There is a bar that closes at midnight which sells coffee, wine, cocktails (Irish prices) and the leftover cake and croissants from the breakfast buffet. They also do sandwiches but we didnt try them. The breakfast buffet was very good. Fresh fruit, yogurts, juices, eggs, cold meats and cheese, breadrolls and cakes...there was something for everyone. The bar staff would make cappuccinos and espressos on order but often it was impossible to get the staff's attention to actually order something. I wonder how they cope during high season. What really quickly got the staff's attention very quickly, is anyone trying to sit where ever they wanted. That they really didnt like. The first day I asked whether I can sit anywhere but after I chose my table and was asked to move somewhere else. This I witnessed happening every morning with several families to the extent that it almost amused me and I toyed with idea to sit on the 'forbidden table' on purpose.
