Convenient property but would stay elsewhere in the future. VIP status not recognised and tried to charge us extra to make the sofa bed. However, the staff who serviced our room each day were very good! Be sure to bring your own tea and coffee as this isn’t provided. Rooms aren’t soundproof so can be very noisy.

The apartment was very well laid out and has every thing you might need. Quiet position and staff very friendly. Nice pool to sit round if you don’t fancy the beach. A little bit of a walk into town if you have no car. Definitely would stay there again.

Front desk staff was so friendly and very helpful. They always greeted us so nicely and always checking to make sure we were happy. Gave us great tips on local Things to do and restaurants etc. Parking is right there and super easy. Room was huge, great AC, very clean, had a great view from the balcony.

It was about a 10 min walk into Alvor restaurants, but felt safe. V quiet hotel, with large studio room and lovely staff, although there don't seem to be many of them.Plenty of tables and chairs inside and on decking, but could do with a comfortable area, soft chairs (armchairs) and side tables to have a drink at or read, maybe a book exchange shelf? Only downside really was that there were not enough umbrellas, it would be good to have one umbrella per 2 sunbeds and people were reserving sunbeds and umbrellas at 8.30am and not using them till 2pm. But overall was a lovely relaxed stay, friendly and helpful staff, and would stay again.

Nice hotel in good location
Very nice & quite stay for the month, the pool area was out of bounds during our stay but didn't really affect us 10 minute walk to town bars and restaurants, we would return

We arrived quite late as had a warm welcome by the lovely receptionist who was vert friendly. Our room was very lovely and big, comfy bed and lots of space, our balcony overlooked the pool and was very big. Our bathroom was dated unfortunately. The shower needs updating. We also had an issue with our toilet leaking but as soon as we informed reception they had the issue fixed within an hour or so, really can't fault them. The hotel is a little walk into town (approx 10min) but that suits us fine.

Great hotel, very clean, helpful staff. Rooms very big as was the bathroom and balcony. Breakfast varied choice. This was my third stay at this hotel. It is just on the edge of the town, so a nice walk back after a meal. The town is small and during the day full of locals and at night it comes alive with restaurants and bars and music. Lovely safe atmosphere.

Rooms spacious and well equipped.The enormous balcony was brilliant as it had sun all afternoon and well into the evening . Well cleaned plus the bathroom toiletries were a bonus . Staff courteous and incredibly helpful especially at the reception desk . The breakfasts were fresh and offered a good selection of foods . Being a smaller hotel there were no queues or waiting times for any of the facilities . Definitely would return if visiting Alvor again .

1 week wasnt enough!!!😁
Fantastic place to stay, has its own pool which we didnt use as we are beach people. Bed and Breakfast only here which suited us as we lime to try local restaurants. The breakfast was buffet style and had a grrwat selection and good quality. The beach is a leisurely 20 minute walk and is wonderful. There is a local supermarket (5 minute walk) which has a cafe / bakery in it. The Portuguese tarts were 50p!!! And a filled roll was £2!!! On the way to the beach thru the main street was a artisan bakery / cafe which was our regular coffee stop! Definitely recommend and defo going back there!

Not a place to bring children-nothing for them outside except the pool and when it rains nothing for them or adults inside either. Although it’s very clean and the rooms are very spacious a lot of maintenance needs to be done such as fix door locks/balcony door hinges broken/ kitchen doors peeling etc. also it’s quite a walk to Centre of Alvor and the extravagant prices of taxis mean walking it has to be.

located in a quite part of town, a 10 minutes walk from the centre. good size room with a large balcony. Breakfast was very good. The beds are a tad hard, and the bathroom was bit worse for wear in places. WIFI brilliant and the staff are super friendly.- great value for money.

We had a studio apt with a big balcony and a garden and pool view. The apt was a good size with air con and with a well fitted out kitchen which we only used for tea/coffee but there was a kettle,coffee maker,microwave,hob,oven and large fridge.Breakfast was good with continental and english all good.It's approx a 20 min walk to the restaurants,shops and beach which was ok for us.

Nice property with some updated amenities. Cute suites with kitchen and small fridge. Comfy beds and living area. Beautiful patio and nice outdoor pool. Must walk out and down a hill to the pool and kiddie pool area. Some loungers surround the pool with umbrellas. Nice buffet breakfast in the morning with coffee, juices, cereal, fresh breads, cheese, meats, and fruit. Old key system for the doors/rooms which makes it a bit inconvenient for carrying around. The location is a bit out of town and would be about 20 min walk. Small restaurant and store with basic conveniences a few mins away. Lots of parking.

Very nice place
This was our second time staying here.The staff are very nice and very helpful .Both the buffet breakfast and the food from the lunch menu are enjoyable.We had a very relaxing stay here and are looking forward to a return trip.

This was our second stay at Luna Alvor Village and we loved it. Our apartment was spotless, had all the facilities we needed, the bed was so comfortable, all of the staff were happy and helpful and the maids came every day, if you wished. Great holiday accommodation, highly recommended.
We have been visiting Alvor for 10 years now, although this was the first time we stayed at the Luna Alvor Village, and we will book again. Rooms are kept very clean, and are visited by the cleaners every day. The staff are extremely professional, and go all out to make sure you are always happy. The reception staff are also very professional, and make every effort to ensure good communication - always a pleasant experience.The breakfast is extra special, with a fantastic choice to suite every need. Shame that some people tended to over indulge by filling their faces beyond what we would see at reasonable, but with all the food on offer, this never meant that we were left hungry.

Nice relaxing hotel with friendly staff. Good WiFi in room and plenty of English channels to watch. There is no entertainment in hotel or games room. No food after 4pm. New sun beds are needed around pool. Charging for towels or safe is a bit much.

Great destination
Brilliant hotel, (2nd visit) just 15 mins from the town, which has both locals and visitors during day, becoming vibrant at night with the bars and restaurants in full flow. Always felt safe. The hotel staff very welcoming and helpful. Rooms very spacious. Pool very clean. Would recommend this hotel.

Perfect hotel for a family holiday!
I was pleasantly surprised that the room exactly matched the image we had seen online and it more than exceeded our expectations. It was spacious, clean and had everything we needed - it was like a fully furnished studio apartment but in a hotel setting. The staff were friendly, breakfast was nice, the pool clean, good broadband connectivity etc etc. I highly recommended this hotel for a family holiday and would not hesitate to stay there again.

Poorly maintained hotel
Stayed at hotel last year and was lovely but returned this year and had to move room twice. All 3 rooms we occupied had problems. First room air conditioning didn’t worked and we waited a whole day to change rooms. Second room had water coming through the ceiling , again waited a whole day to move. It also had no plug in bathroom sink and pools of water in the fridge. Last room smelt of cigarette smoke and the lights didn’t work in the bathroom( these were minor issues compared to other rooms). The rooms are obviously not inspected prior to occupation. Maintenance issues clearly now exist at the hotel.
