You could not ask for a better location to experience Carvoeiro. The hotel is clean and beautiful. The staff is helpful. The breakfast buffet was surprisingly good.

Shame that the swimming pool was closed
The swimming pool area was closed, which was a real shame. Breakfast wasn’t very good. The hotel was nice though

Lovely hotel in a great location! Close to the beach, restaurants and shops. The rooms were a good size, and reasonably priced! Nice rooftop bar too. Strongly recommend!

Awesome location
Hotel was clean and staff friendly. The breakfast was a big variety. It’s conveniently located near a lot of shops, restaurants, and the best part right across from the beach. Also the board walk close by was nice for a morning walk. Will be back!

Imran at the front desk was very helpful getting us situated and finding our way around town. Breakfast was great. The property is older, but very clean and in an ideal location. Excellent value.

At first the parking wasn’t great because we had to park off site due to the hotels lot being full (I personally just don’t like parking further away with a rental) but on our second last day we got a parking spot in the lot. Rooms were great and clean! Staff was lovely and the location was amazing! We only drove 1 time while we were there and that was to go to Lagos for the day. Highly recommend!

Fantastic location
Lovely friendly hotel with a fantastic location, near the beach and shops. Staff were professional and helpful. Good airport transfer. Thanks to Hamid, at reception and the friendly staff. Sky Bar on top floor nice for sundowners!

We asked for a quiet room but were allocated a room with doors that opened out onto the swimming pool area. Loungers were a few feet from our door and it was noisy well into the evening. We had absolutely no privacy - we could not even open the doors during the day to allow fresh air into the room and we had no outside space of our own. We were not able to change our room because the hotel was full, so checked out after just one night. The only good point about our experience at this hotel was the breakfast, which was excellent!

A good hotel for a one night stay.
We enjoyed a one night stay at the hotel before moving to an apartment for a week. For us the hotel was fine but we wouldn’t have wanted to stay longer than one night. Room clean and staff friendly but the noise outside went on until at least midnight and was unbearable. Breakfast was adequate however I don’t think we would return due to the noise levels.

The location is fabulous, the staff friendly and helpful and Carvoeiro itself is a delight. The hotel has recently been taken over and refurbished but has not lost any of its traditional feel. The pool bar was not open in July which we found strange as it was under the old regime even in October.

Image in advertising of hotel is a bit misleading. It is not ON the beach but pretty close. Noisy in the square until midnight but nice vibe .

The best place to stay in Carvoeiro.
Excellently located. All units on the front have a small balcony with a sea view. Great for that mid afternoon bottle of wine and cheese. Located in the heart of everything. Carvoeiro is a nice small Algarve town on the beach. We loved it. The hotel staff was nice enough to give us bus directions from Lagos. Breakfast was just ok, and internet access was from libby only, but everything else was perfect. We got a lot for the price at this hotel.

Stayed here 7 times now. Lovely hotel with prime location. Nicely refurbished and very good staff. Sea view rooms are much improved now that the balconies have been remodelled. Love the place

The property was very clean and the staff were friendly. The beds were very narrow and for myself having a bad back it made moving very difficult, also the fact that there was no internet in the room made things a little awkward when trying to check e mails etc.

So close to everything and the staff was very helpful. The only thing that really needs updating would be the hairdryers lol looking forward to coming back next year!

Great location near the beach. Bathroom no windows or air extraction. Great service. Tv reception was bad . No wifi in the rooms but in the lounge only.

Nice hotel close to the beach and town
Very nice and friendly staff. Easy check in and out. The only thing was, and it has nothing to do with the hotel, is taxi service. We weren't able to book a taxi that would pick us up from the hotel to Lagoa as the taxi center wouldn't take the booking, had to walk 4km at 4 am... As I said this has nothing to do with the hotel, staff was extremely helpful with that, one receptionist even offered to organise his friend to give us a lift.

Carvoiero Sol is right in the centre of everything.. a skip and a hop and you are on the beach.. Loads of nice restaurants all around..Very friendly staff in hotel..Nice breakfast , Great value Only downer was... the beds are very hard
