“Met all expectations”
The hotel is in a really quiet back road, lovely room with kithen facilities for that first cup of tea, however no kettle. Almost one step to self catering. Fridge to stock with beer & wine. Ask for a ground floor studio which has table & chairs to have an afternoon read and drink in the sun.
“Very Pleased”
We stayed in room 3901 which was downstairs, with steps leading to the pool. We were very pleased with the smell and cleanliness of the whole apartment when we first entered. We found the staff very polite and helpful, and the hotel was within easy reach of everything as we had no transport.
“One to re-visit!”
We have just returned from a wonderfully relaxing week. We had a downstairs room in the lovely quiet villa just down the road from the main hotel. The room was pleasant and perfectly clean. The staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful and we can recommend the breakfast! We shall definitely be visiting again.
“Yes, one to recommend!!”
The rooms in the building just down the road are very quiet and relaxing. 2 ring electric hob is fine for cooking light meals. BBQ at the hotel on Thursdays with music is well worth the 17 euro charge. Breakfast buffet is ample for the day, fresh fruit, meats, cooked stuff, great coffee.
“Wonderful respite in Lagos”
We loved this hotel. It was away from the bustle of downtown. This did mean that we usually drove to the oldtown, but it was a doable walk as well. Our unit had a deck that looked out on a courtyard with a view of a pool. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly.
“Good value in enjoyable location”
10 enjoyable days in May. Our room good size but basic. Though facilities less varied than other 4* hotels this is relaxed and comfortable with good service and a more personal approach. Very good for quiet relaxing holiday and an excellent base to explore the western Algarve
“Unusual hotel in Lagos”
Reading the reviews, I was not sure what to expect but found the little recption charming and the two staff on duty very pleasant. They gave us a number of publications and maps and explained the basic layout of the hotel and one of them then showed us around the facilities before jumping in our car to show us our room, 66, in a very nice villa around the corner. the room was clean, nicely furnished, with a small patio outside, two loungers and a private lawn. there was a small pool shared, I believe with four other rooms. There was plenty of crockery should we have needed it ( & a kettle ! ) and plenty of hot water & towels. Breakfast was good, hot, cold , fruits etc with an interesting table of local specialities. The bar, though small, has satellite TV for those who cant miss their football. Did not try the hotel restaurant as there are too many good and different restaurants in easy walking/driving distance. Lots of golfers thee when we were who all seemed to be enjoying it. Will try again next year when I am travelling on my own.
“Good quality hotel”
This was a very well maintened small hotel complex which was in a quiet residential area. Very clean and bright. Only ate breakfast in the hotel which was continental style with a large variety of breads, hams, cheeses and fruit etc. Scrambled eggs and Algarve type bacon most mornings. Swimming pools on site but unfortunately at the time of year we visited (October) too cold to use. Hotel is situated about 20-25minute walk into Lagos town although there are a few very good restaurants within walking distance and beaches are also nearby (although down steps - quite steep). Would advise hiring a car to explore the other resorts with the wide variety of beaches.
“A pleasant holiday.”
Very happy with the hotel.Only drawback is that it is a good 20 minute walk from Central Lagos and this might not suit everyone as the return is slightly uphill. Not drastic but a consideration for the less mobile. Food good and wine very reasonable. Staff pleasant and cleanliness particularly of rooms superb.
“a super location and fantastic pools”
this is definitely one to recommend. location is fab - about an hr's drive from Faro so you need a car but well worth it. 5min walk to beach with great boat trips. fab breakfasts and good all round location. ask for a room in the separate villa a few hundred yards down the road. its v quiet and worth it. get a room downstairs and your room opens out to the quiet pool. superb villa style hotel - definitely one to recommend
