“A great place to relax”
The staff were excellent and the hotel is fantastic. The only downfalls are is its setting, there isnt allot going on in the close surroundings. Also the restaurants have no atmosphere and they are not ver child friendly. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone thinking of going there as overall it is 5*.
“Un hotel zen, sympa et haut de gamme”
Un excellent hotel haut de gamme avec d'excellentes prestations. Le SPA et les massages sont vraiment à essayer. Petit déjeuner, bar, restauration à la hauteur. Et pourtant il y à un problème, pas insurmontable mais tout de meme. L'hotel est rempli à 90% par des anglophones et en conséquence, le personnel ne parle pas ou très peu Francais y compris la réception ( a l'exception de la responsable du SPA de plus de bon conseil sur les visites exterieures).Mais le même personnel fait aussi d'énormes efforts pour parler et est surtout toujours souriant. Alors un conseil...si vous voulez passer un excellent séjour....réviser votre Anglais ou mieux apprenez le Portugais. Bon séjour.
“Fantastic, modern”
Spent 5 nights at the 5* CS Sao Rafael Suite Hotel - and can't rate it highly enough! Beautiful, modern decor... huge double suite (with 2 bathrooms which had double sinks!)... fantastic spa... excellent weather. Breakfast included a huge selection. When we visited the hotel was apparently fully booked, but there was always enough sunloungers and the hotel was never noisy or busy. Would definitely consider returning!
“relaxed and spacious”
not for anyone looking for alot of evening action, but quiet spacious and great quality. Only limited evening food offering especially for families. There are some restaurants in the area.
“Excellent place for a quiet luxury stay”
During our holiday in Portugal we were staying in San Rafael Suite Hotel. We were looking forward a very quiet comfortable stay for two of us, with great meals and close location to the ocean. Because our aim was to relax and have rather lazy stay, I was also intending to visit beauty salon, sauna, to get couple of massages. This was particularly attractive point not only for me, but also for my husband - we met there a fantastic masseur (shiatsu - Japanese point massage) and received very nice face treatments. The beach was within 10 minutes walk - so just about to have a walk but not hear noises of other "relaxed" people. We were fascinated by its state - very clean, cosy with a fantastic view. Meals were reach and various, representing both British and European cuisine. Staff - very friendly and easy to communicate. We totally enjoyed our stay and will definitely opt for the same hotel during our next visit to Algarve.
“Excellent hotel”
Would definitely recommend this hotel. The hotel was lovely with very modern decor. Room was spacious with good facilities and staff were friendly and helpful (eg booked taxis, restaurants and confirmed flights and transfers for us). It is handy for the beach (though note that you are charged extra for using the sunloungers which I would have expected to be included in the price) and is a short taxi ride to Albufeira. We dined in the hotel restaurant a couple of nights and the food was very good (though not a cheap option). Would like to stay here again.
“Hotel very modern - Best i've seen.”
Hotel excellent and very clean certainly a 5*. We booked a Duluxe Suite and well worth it, very spacious.We travelled in December but not a lot going on in the evening, including Albufeira. Hotel could do with at least a piano bar and reduce the prices in the bar as nobody went into it in the evening (No atmosphere) We can't comment on the restaurant/swimming pool etc as we didnt go in. When going for breakfast go in 1 hour before it finishes otherewise nothing left.
“Trés bel hôtel et sympa”
Trés bel hôtel, accueil très sympa, environnement face à la mer ydillique, Spa magninifique, dommage qu'aucune information, ni menu, ni chaine de TV dans la chambre ne soient en Français. On en parle pas en Français mais tout en anglais, allemand, hollandais... Mais jamais en Français. Sinon, séjour eceptionnel
“Absolutely Amazing!”
This is a really fantastic hotel! It is new, clean, modern and has a wonderful breakfast. This really is a bargin for the price. The only thing i found bad was this it was marginally hard to find. But basically it is just past the main town. STAY HERE! I will be returning.
“Absolutely cannot wait to go back.”
This hotel was probably one of the best around the world that we have stayed in. That is also comparing it with the Ritz Carlton (6 star) in Singapore. Absolutely fabulous. We are hopeful that we can acquire a 10 day booking over Christmas.
