Family reunionPosted 30-Jul-2014
Pros: We liked every thing and the breakfast was fantastic.
Location: East Greenbush is just east of Albany, NY and there is plenty to do, this time of year Saratoga is going Horses.
We arrived about 3pm and saw the cleanliness right away, I am in a wheelchair and there was someone at the door to help us, they have a low counter part for us (oldies but goodies) we were put on the 1st floor (Thank goodness) I am also on oxygen and brought my big machine with us. We were very quickly through the paper work and in our room. The room was spotless, refrigerator, microwave, king size bed, and etc. So as you can see we have no problems about returning there.

Great stay at The Fairfield Inn in NY statePosted 27-Jun-2014
Pros: Great stay and excellent staff. Nice and clean and the pool was a plus.
Cons: Not at this time.
Location: Close to the highway that we were traveling on and easy access to it.
Great customer service, staff was excellent, nice accommodations, room was very nice for our families' overnight stay. Our family enjoyed the pool which stays open until sunset - excellent. This too, was very clean. Right after we had dinner right next door at the Cracker Barrel which is very reasonable. Very quiet and comfortable hotel to stay in and we recommend it to anyone. We enjoyed our stay very much. Thank you Fairfield Inn and Expedia for making our stay an excellent one.

Clean, nice, comfortable with good breakfast.Posted 10-Jun-2014
Pros: The cleanliness and comfort of the room, and the friendly, helpful staff.
Cons: Nothing that I can think of...
Location: We took the train from Rennselaer to New York Penn Station for a day. Then we rode north the following day, and visited Saratoga Springs.
We were going to travel by train from Rennsalaer, and needed a hotel close to the station. We were happy to find a nice, clean room with a breakfast that included scrambled eggs, sausage, french toast and other items--not just a few bagels and donuts. I will definitely stay at this hotel again, as the staff was friendly and helpful.

Pros: Clean, Pleasant staff.
The room was comfortable, location was perfect. We were traveling to Kingston,ON & this location split the trip in half. Smart locating next to a Cracker Barrell and a Dennie's.

Easy access to highway and close to restaurantsPosted 27-May-2014 on Hotels.com
Staff was very nice and pleasant to deal with. Great location with complimentary parking and breakfast. Close to highway - about 10 minutes away from downtown Albany. Small breakfast area but good variety. Right next to Cracker Barrel and Denny's (Open 24 hours!) if you have the munchies. The room was clean and okay. I requested a room with a refrigerator and microwave. The main complaint I have is that the bed was not comfortable. It was too springy and hurt my back. The other complaint I have is there were no safe in the room. Nothing went missing but that would have been nice to have.

We did one over night at the Fairfield, East Greenbush as we were out for a funeral. It was a little hard to find. The sign was in between a more visible Denny's and Cracker Barrel. That could have been our fault because of the road the hotel is located on. Our not being familiar with the layout of the road/traffic. Crossing across to pull in to our left, and crossing that road to get out, to go left was quite a hazard. Very easy access to Route 90. The hotel staff was extremely helpful. Kindly helping us with directions to Nassau, mileage, approximate time to get there etc. The only thing I found odd was I didn't prepay when I made the reservation but we were unable to apply a AAA or AARP discount to the room rate. I still can't figure that one out. We stay at Fairfield's frequently when we travel to Charleston, SC. This one was of equal excellence. We would stay again if in the area.
