Accomodations Average, Experience Wonderful

Posted 17-Oct-2014
Pros: Location, Clean, and Music on Tuesday night!
Cons: perhaps a Queen sze bed in the Full bed rooms,,,not sure,
Location: Sports Bar up the road and some shopping on RT 4, but most fun was Live Music on Tuesday night, in the Hotel Breakfast area.
Business Trip with Verizon to North Greenbush required a Hotel coming from New Jersey on a Tuesday night. Hotel somewhat expensive for the age and Room size that it provided. I had a Full size bed and usually one bed rooms are at least Queen now days. Room was very clean, and only Price for it seemed high. HOWEVER,,,, Traveling with my Guitar,,,,I went to Check in and in the Breackfast Area, there was a group of four Acoustic Musicians, playing and singing with an audiance of around eight. They invited me to sit and play with them, and this made my stay worth BIG Bucks to me. I would have spent $200 to stay there if this was what I could depend on for that night. We played and sang till 11:00 PM, and my understanding is that this is an Every Tuesday Night happening, so the next trip anywhere near Albany will be for me on a Tuesday night!!!

Poor wifi, overcrowded breakfast, animal smell on entry to room, room door lock faulty, bathroom door sticks. Not what is expected at a hotel using Marriott name!

Family reunion

Posted 30-Jul-2014
Pros: We liked every thing and the breakfast was fantastic.
Location: East Greenbush is just east of Albany, NY and there is plenty to do, this time of year Saratoga is going Horses.
We arrived about 3pm and saw the cleanliness right away, I am in a wheelchair and there was someone at the door to help us, they have a low counter part for us (oldies but goodies) we were put on the 1st floor (Thank goodness) I am also on oxygen and brought my big machine with us. We were very quickly through the paper work and in our room. The room was spotless, refrigerator, microwave, king size bed, and etc. So as you can see we have no problems about returning there.

Tiny bed and broken light, but we got in late and probably had the last room.
