“Better then expected.”

We were passing through and needed a cheap place to stay for the night. The rate we got was real affordable which made us nervous about the hotel's conditions,service and so on. We were very pleasantly surprised. The whole hotel was well maintained, comfortable,clean, updated and the service was great. Highly recommended.

“Very nice”

I really enjoy this hotel. I have stayed there twice because of the suites and the indoor pool and jacuzzi, this is great for when it was cold outside.

“Cheap hotel is pretty good!”

Great rates and a convenient location (close to both downtown Albany and the airport. My room though was a no-smoking room, but I could smell the faint smell of smoke from when it used to be a smoking room

“I'd stay again”

Room was clean. Pillows were VERY comfortable. No bad odors or extremely loud noises. I would stay here again. I was disappointed that the pool was closed and I wasn't told. The trip was to visit my children and they were looking forward to the indoor pool.

“Pleasantly surprised”

I travel to the area often to visit my 11 year old son and I have stayed in many hotels on that street. I was initially impressed but the low price and since I had not stated there before I fairly low expectations on the room being nice. The check in service was good and he made me aware of the indoor pool/hot tub hours and answered all my questions. The outside was ok, nothing to brag about, but when I walked into the room I was floored. The size of the room was great, it was clean, and very nice. Breakfast was good, a bit crowded, but the waffles were great. I liked having the micro-fridge especially because I was there more than 1 day. You even get a thumbs up from my son because we could hook his game up to the TV.

“Blah.”

The hotel was very difficult to find. I made an Expedia reservation for Baymont Inn and Suites and they are transitioning to become a Days Inn. So, the signage was for Days Inn, not Baymont Inn and Suites. The TV picture color/clarity was awful....it had a greenish tinge to it. The heater was very loud in the bedroom. The pool and hot tub were fine.
