“Impressive resort”

The weekend stay at the resort was enjoyable for the family. Kids enjoyed swimming pool, beach and sand. The rooms was spacious to accomodate family and nice stay. The service was average and great breakfast buffet. After we left, we look forward to going back.

“Very Disappointed”

I choose this hotel because of its four star ratings; however, I was extremely disappointed. On the plus side the room and hotel, it’s self, was quite clean and well kept. Twice I did not have hot water in my bathroom. Once you go out to the private beach it becomes a different story. The sand and water was full of trash. The trash had been there for some time as the cans were rusting away. All the rusting cans and metal makes the beach dangerous. Just and FYI…even though the beach is private women must still keep covered and are not allowed to use the pools. The food was good, but over priced for The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The buffet was 130 SR, not bad for western prices; however, when you compare it to food prices in the rest of the Kingdom it is very high. The worse part of my stay was check out. I arrived at the desk to turn in my key and check out. During check out the person working the desk asked me to pay. I tried to explain to him I had already paid Expedia, but that didn’t seem to matter. I had to spend over 100 SR on my cell phone to call Expedia and try to work this out. I had to wait an hour at the front desk before talking to the Manager on Duty. I had to explain several times that I had already paid for the stay using Expedia. I even provided them the receipt and itinerary from Expedia. I will NEVER stay at this hotel again!

The hotel is rated as 5 stars. I don't think it deserves more thab 2 stars .
