The hotel was super helpful when I arrived at 11:30pm with tired children and a dog. Pointed me directly to the excellent local parking which is very secure. This made our experience much more enjoyable. Lovely walks around the city in the morning.

Amazing Location and Friendly Stuff
We stayed one night at this hotel July 2021. Amazing location and friendly stuff. We had upgraded room. Still small but comfortable clean room. Buffet breakfast was fantastic, too. We enjoyed last day of our trip there. We did not use but there were also SPA that we could reserved, too. Well done!

Superb Hotel!
Lovely Hotel & staff. Breakfast delivered to the room was superb. Hotel was modern & immaculate. Only thing I would add is it’s in the pedestrian area & hard to find. I had to park around the corner got wet as did my luggage in the heavy rain.

We had a great trip to Chambery. Our daughter was going to study abroad and the hotel is very central and ideal for a short break. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the room was perfect.

Terrible, insecure wi-fi in tired room.
The hotel decor on some floors and rooms is very dated and worn. (The lobby and breakfast area are newer.) Rugs were old and dirty, some walls and doors in room banged up. Staff was inconsistent--some were very friendly and helpful, others hardly noticed you. Worst for us, however, was the wi-fi. It lacked any real security, was weak in the room, and frequently dropped out. For needing it for business, it was very frustrating and that alone would preclude returning.

Great hotel in the centre of town
A lovely hotel in the centre of Chambery. It Is situated in a pedestrianised area but you can get a special pass to drop off your luggage. There is a good car park less than 5 mins walk away and you can get a discount on this from reception. Small but comfortable room. Breakfast cost extra but was excellent value with great choice and local products on offer. Only slight down-side was noisy doors-which when people are coming and going at night can be disturbing.

Pleasant Stay
It was a rather small room, with no amenities. good location to local shops and restaurants. Amazing Bio supermarket nearby, L'Eau Vive', with great service! There was a small fire alarm incident on one of the nights we stayed. We had to wait for the fire department and police to arrive ....very slowly. No feedback was given to us about the incident, and no apology. Check-out staff was VERY SLOW.

Stayed in Chalet Double Room (better room). The hotel is located in the nicest location and in the old sector. Plus nearby are shops and many restaurants. There is a 400m walk to the bus station with another 100m walk to the train station. However it is worth this walk for the nicer location if you are staying a few days or more. The hotel is small but ok and nice enough. There is one elevator lift but it is very small. Buffet breakfast is normal and ok. The staff were helpful and polite, and the hotel overall was clean and tidy. The hotel boast a Spa, but this is no spa. It is a small room with a small sauna and sitting chair and a small Jacuzzi, suitable for 1 person or at a tight squeeze 2 people. It has fitness machines. I had the better room with bath plus shower over the bath. Good shower, however the bath was only half size which was disappointing and should have been stated. The bathroom was very small and strangely had a glass door, which meant light came through while sleeping. The room had air conditioning that worked. But there was no safe, or much else. The view was terrible and also overlooked the rubbish bins. Plus at 04:00 men were moving bins which woke us. Overall the hotel was fine, but for 2 complaints. Firstly there was no drinks facilities in the room. So no kettle to make any drinks. Secondly during the night there was a buzzing sound from the corridor ever 10 minutes which was loud enough to keep you awake all night until you learn to ignore it.

Located in centre of Chambery ,parking in town centre underground car park about 80 metres away, discounted rate through hotel. Well presented hotel, dog friendly, good breakfast, no reataurant but many eating options closely.

Good central location, a stone throw from the elephants stand. The room decoration are very different from the lobby. So you get different impression from the lobby to the rooms. Lovely room, would stay again if we are in Chambery again.

Centrally located in Chambery France
The Hotel helped resolve a miss understanding with the" Family" room. Website made it look as if it were 2-3 separate rooms, but it was one big room that sleeps 7 people. Very difficult to keep water in the shower with a 1/4 size glass swinging panel. The hotel was able to switch us to regular rooms for 3 of the 5 nights. Very nice. Breakfast for 11 euros was fabulous. Great spread with many options, French breads, cheeses, soft boiled eggs, yogurt, cereal and a great latte machine. Don't plan on printing out your boarding pass in the lobby. Hotel is located right in the center of the old town with lots of dining and shopping within walking distance. We also walked to train station and all around the historic city including the great castle. I enjoyed this little gem and already have reservations to return and stay again for 7 nights in October 2017. I have requested room #333 but have not heard back from hotel. Enjoy

Central but hot!
Excellent location, car park approx. 200 yards away. Rooms very basic and small. Beams might be very rustic, but they took up even more space. Air con very poor (don't think it was working at all). We didn't eat at the hotel, so can't comment on that. Steep steps/slope to get in main entrance - OK for us, but not sure about lesser abled. Overall, found it quite disappointing and would not recommend to friends.

This hotel over promised and under delivered . The website showed amazing rooms and public areas . The public areas were indeed lovely but the rooms awful. Room 52 was given to us ... Totally tiny for 3 . Michela on reception was a star and gave us another room 21. Felt like I was sleeping in a dormitory and the bathroom was like a school bathroom really horrible . The rooms do not look like the website but the public area is lovely . Michela on reception should have 5 stars she was helpful amazing patient kind ... Definitely a top member of staff . The secure parking was totally useless for us as we had a roof box so had to leave out car on the street and there was no mention of height restriction on your website so we did not sleep well as we were worried about our car

Great hotel to stopover on journey between Italy and home. Easy to find. Central. Good parking nearby. Very spacious and cool room and a fantastic shower. Chambery itself is a lovely town to wander around
