“ACAPULCO FOR NEW YEARS”
THE HOTEL IS IN GREAT SHAPE, WELL LOCATED IN THE NEW HAPPENING AREA OF ACAPULCO, THE FACILITIES ARE INCREDIBLE AND VERY WELL TRAINED PERSONNEL
“Looking forward to returning to this location”
Right from the time you drive up, you feel welcome like you were in your own home. Staff were very helpful in meeting needs and or providing assistance.
“One of the best hotels in Acapulco”
Great hotel, lots of green spaces to have fun and rest. The gym is excelent.
“Loved this hotel and its Diamante Coast!”
Spacious grounds, plenty of pool areas to choose from, not busy at all, lovely beach location, lovely spacious rooms with stunning ocean view, La Isla shopping mall nearby was a delight and offered some great alternative dining opportunities - especially the Fish/Seafood restaurant "La Trainera". Would definitely recommend, and would definitely like to go back.
“Awesome Family Vacation Destination”
The Grand Mayan is an outstanding property for a get-away with children. Our kids were entertained for hours in the aqua park and lazy river. The pool i wonderful as well -- pretty scenery and lots of room to spread out. We never had to fight for beach chairs. The beach beyond the hotel is also very nice. Our room set-up was great. With two large rooms and a very nice bathroom. Dining at the hotel is nothing special. We would have enjoyed better local cuisine, and more options besides average buffets. But this was a minor issue. Overall, we loved our stay at the Grand Mayan.
“A great hotel to stay in Acapulco”
Overall the hotel is really good. The rooms are very comfortable, the beach is nice and the swimming pools are great. The hotel has 2 restaurants: one usually has breakfast buffets and from thursday-sunday dinner buffets as well. The other one is a little fancier with a la carte menu. The food is great in both of them. The rooms have a kitchenette with everything you need and there is hotel transportation to a mini-mart where you can buy all you need if you want to prepare some meals in the room. The Aqua-park is really cool and the kids enjoyed it a lot but it gets quite crowded. Of the things I disliked: there is no internet access from the rooms (unless you do dial-up), the Mondo bar is quite loud at nights and the check-in time to be so late (5pm) and the chek-out so early (10am).
“Good option to stay in Acapulco”
Good facilities. Big pool. Good price. It would be better without extra charges for gym, aqua park, parking, etc.
“Nice and comfortable”
Nice and comfortable, impossible to find a spot on the beach though
“i was impressed”
it was a great resort. Unfortunatley the packet we asked for while booking with expedia gave us a bit of problems when checking in. But once it was resolved and disscused it was a great trip. The hotel itself has everything you can imagine. Very clean and the people are extremley nice and helpful.
