“Great time in Avalon”
This is a great hotel. Staff was very kind and always available, rooms are really nice and clean and it is right on the beach, in great area of town. There are many places to go to on walking distance from the hotel, and to the others is cheap cab ride. I try not to travel to same places twice, but if I ever come back to Acapulco (which is possible, because I loved it) this the place I am staying at!
“We had an excellent time during our stay and would consider returning.”
The hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. The only thing that I would mention is that the elevators were not working as well as they could. The room, food, pool and beach areas were exceptional.
“Excellent for the price”
The hotel was really nice! The room overlooked the bay, and it could not have been better. Everyone that worked at the hotel was extremely friendly and helpful and the overall experience was great. If you are looking for a convenient location and friendly service, this hotel is for you.
“Wonderful Location”
The Hotel was in a great location.Beach w/para sailing, wave runners in backyard/strip outfront. Had "strip" room..car horns tooting all night (bothered boyfiend, not I). Recc a beach side room (hard bed). Many resturants DO NOT accept credit cards. Check first, dont assume like we did one night. Had to walk a bit to find ATM to bring cash back. The "real" flea market is the "government" one, about 5 miles away, in downtown area near post office and cruise ship dock area, but if you are walking and looking around, you can walk the whole way like we did. Will return.
“strongly recomend this hotel”
service was better than expected really nice hotel it has all you need and something extra.
“Super Visit”
We found the room extremely clean, relatively quiet on 16th floor, food good, service impeccable. Plan to revisit Acapulco next January and certainly will stay in this hotel. Convenient to shopping and dining. Beautiful beachfront and great views. Highly recommend this hotel.
“Stayed one night only, 12/2006”
I was pleasantly surprised by the location and the condition of the hotel. It's located right on the beach (a $2-4 dollar cab ride to the zocalo). The room was clean and had a beautiful view of the ocean. The only fault that i found was the the bathroom sink seemed a little worn. Overall i recommend this hotel and would definitely stay there again.
“the next to best stay, cant wait going back in april.2007”
i have notice the security other times that i been in acapulco, never occur to me to stay decided to try i love it, you get the view and enjoyment of 75% of the coast,of acapulco...... loved it loved it.
“a very convenient hotel”
This hotel is very convenient if you want to be close to the "costera" downtown area of acapulco. You have one of the main malls right infront of you. Most of the luxury hotels are very far from the downtown area. It was a very convenient hotel for me, evrything was so close by. The view to the ocean is great, especially in the mornings.
“Very EnjoyableWeek”
Our only complaint was that our matress was EXTRA firm, very hard on an old guy's back, hips, shoulders, etc. Otherwise, we had a delightful week at your hotel. The food was presented well and was of excellent quality. So, too, were the servers very attentive and pleasant.
