Located in the modern capital city of Abu Dhabi, the Beach Rotana - Abu Dhabi is connected to popular Abu Dhabi Mall, housing about 200 shops, 40 restaurants, a food court, and a multiplex theater. Wireless Internet access is available in public areas and both wired and wireless access in meeting rooms.
Cushioned chaise longues and chairs, shaded by thatched beach umbrellas, are arrayed along the hotel's private beach and on the wide green lawns above the low seawall. A freeform pool with swim-up bar is dotted with small palm-tree islands. Children have their own pool, as well as supervised activities and a covered playground.

The Beach Rotana - Abu Dhabi has 413 spacious guestrooms, located in the Beach Wing or Tower Wing. Contemporary decor incorporates rich woods and jewel-toned fabrics. Amenities include wireless and wired high-speed Internet access, minibars, safes, satellite TV, and IDD (International Direct Dial) phones with voice mail. Bathrooms contain makeup mirrors, bathrobes, bidets, and telephones. Arriving guests are welcomed with a plate of fruit.

Finz - Fresh seafood. All-wood restaurant with peaked ceiling, large windows facing sea. International cooking styles, including Chinese, Indian, Portuguese.
Benihana - Branch of popular restaurant chain. Japanese-American cuisine, including sushi, sashimi, salads, steaks. Teppanyaki theme nights. Lunch, dinner, late-night cocktails.
Prego's - Seasonal Italian cuisine. Dining indoors or out on terrace overlooking Arabian Sea. Open kitchen with wood-fired oven. Wine bar. Delicatessen with treats flown in from Italy. Open noon till midnight.
Brauhaus German Restaurant and Terrace - Rustically decorated dining room. Outdoor terrace overlooking the sea. Traditional German specialties, rich desserts. Open noon till late night.
Café Columbia - Large selection of coffees, pastries, snacks, plus à la carte menu. Piano entertainment. Open early morning till late night.
Indigo - Indian fusion restaurant. Intimate interior featuring candles, fabrics in a lively setting accompanied by fresh music. Open 6.30 PM to 11.30 PM.
The hotel also has two beach bars and a poolside bar with a swim-up side.
Trader Vic's - Branch of the internationally famous restaurant chain. French-Polynesian theme, Mai Tai bar, Chinese oven. Lunch, dinner, late-night cocktails.
Rodeo Grill - Prime steaks, grilled seafood prepared in an exhibition kitchen. European and New World wines. Club-like setting with leather chairs, brick walls. Lunch, dinner.
Rosebuds - Daily breakfast, lunch, dinner buffets showcasing international fare. Continental à la carte menu, also. Friday brunch with live entertainment, children's activities. Mexican theme Thursday evenings. Indoor and outdoor seating.
Bay View - Beachfront dining. À la carte lunch and dinner. Club sandwiches, steaks, salads, refreshing beverages.
Recreation
The hotel's private beach club includes access to the 120-meter (394-foot) white-sand beach, two temperature-controlled pools (one for children), three floodlit tennis courts, and two squash courts (surcharge for use of racquets and balls). The health club's staffed, sea-view gym offers a wide array of cardio and weight equipment, with classes, personal training, and massage available for surcharges.
The on-site sports shop can arrange waterskiing, boating, wakeboarding, scuba diving, windsurfing, fishing, horseback riding, and desert tours (surcharges). A golf club is about 20 minutes away.

“Need more to do”

“Great Value”
Just returned from a week's holiday in Abu Dhabi (in March 2007). If you want great accommodation, lovely food and good value for money you will not find better. Tip- If you book the Club Rotana you get breakfast, afternoon tea, canapes and lots of alcohol all thrown in for not that much money. This really made the holiday for us as the Club treated you like a VIP which was lovely. As the hotel is linked to the Mall, you can go to the cinema which is great as well as shopping. All in all an excellent venue

A great weekend away. The hotel was great, and all the staff were friendly and helpful throughout the stay.
“Great Hotel”
Perfect stay, they took care of my every need in an expiditious manner. They really treat you like royalty here. Every employee made a point to say hello everytime I walked by. I also got stuck there for 2 extra days due to airline issues and they gave me a great rate for the last 2 nights. This will be the only place I stay when I go back!!! A+A+A+
“A Must Stay Hotel”
The Beach Rotana by far is the best place to stay in Abu Dhabi. Don't take into consideration too much that there is construction going on around and the diversion you'll take to get into the city. Take into consideration the options in restaurants, bars, food and not to mention the Abu Dhabi Mall one door down. Excellent service as well. My only negative was the early morning noisy construction on Al Reem island...but it didn't outweigh the positives and it helped as an alarm clock...otherwise I could've slept in every morning.
“Would definitely stay again”
We'd been recommended this hotel by friends and had researched reviews on various sites before hand. The hotel was excellent, all the staff very friendly, the facilities were excellent. We loved the infinity pool and our 19 month daughter would have stayed in it forever if we'd let her!. The room was comfortable, though my definition of a suite is somewhat different to the hotels. The restaurants in the hotel - specifically the Italian (Prego's) and the Rodeo Grill. The location, attached to Abu Dhabi Mall was convenient, though taxi rides to other places were cheap and quick, so a good location overall. When we go back to Abu Dhabi we'll definitely be staying there again!
“Excellent experience.”
Check in was efficeint and speedy. we had booked a twin and a king bed and both rooms were on the same floor. rooms were well presented and very clean, tea coffee etc provided and fresh fruit was provided daily which was a nice touch. Rooms were quiet, air conditioning efficient and thick curtains meant we slept well in comfortable beds. Pool area had plenty of loungers and shades with life guards on duty. The pool was chilled which provided relief from the heat, sea was hot but the beach area was very narrow but private and seemed safe for swimming .Water sports were available for a charge. We ate at Rosebuds, Finz and Preidos all meals were of a high quality ans service excellent. It was east to walk through the hotel and get to a good shopping mall with a food court and a big supermarket- useful for pool/beach picnics and snacks. It only took about 15 mins in a taxi to get to the Marina mall which was much larger. We would certainly go back again .... it compares very wall with other UAE 5 star hotels. Remember that there is a lot of construction all around but the closest was on an island opposite the hotel and had no noise impact on the hotel you could however watch the cranes movements.
“Beach Rotana Hotel Abu Dhabi”
We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this hotel. The facilities on offer were exceptional, the restaurants, even though a more limited service was on offer due to Ramadan, were excellent particularly Indigo which offered lovely indian style cuisine. We upgraded from a classic to a classic suite room at what we thought was a very reasonable charge. The room was large, well equpped, clean and serviced to a high standard. The rain shower in the very pleasant bathroom was a real pleasure. We loved the fresh fruit delivered each day and we were given plenty of complimentary bottled water. What really made this hotel for us are the staff. Pleasant at all times, eager to please and just old fashioned well mannered and courteous. Our flights from Manchester to Abu Dhabi were with Etihad. We were on time and felt very comfortable even though we travelled in economy Coral class. Check in at Manchester was very quick and were made to feel quite special. Food served was very acceptable and the flight crew were unfailingly professional. This was our first trip to Abu Dhabi, would we go again, without a moment of hesitation!!
