We were in a room next to a room that apparently flooded and there were five blowers in hallway. I was also charged some extra fees after our stay that I didn’t charge.

I am sorry this was your experience with our hotel. We did experience a pipe break and had to have commercial blowers dry it quickly to preserve our hallways. I did look at your account and noticed a pet fee on it. However, due to the issues with your stay, I did hope to make it right for you by refunding that back to your card. Staff was very pleasant but room could have been cleaner. Dust and hair on floor and specs of dirt in the tub. No toilet paper roller, no towel bars and no blow dryer. Partial renovation in progress.

I do apologize that our hotel did not meet the standards one would expect from a Hilton property. We have just completed a renovation and some of our finishing touches are not complete; such as the toilet paper holders and towel bars. We had dinner and drinks in the hotel restaurant/bar area. The food was good service adequate. MAJOR CONCERN: There was a male employee working at the bar who was obviously not feeling well. He kept laying his head on the bar he was clearly feeling sick. He should not have been working around people in that condition. Also I saw no evidence of a manager on duty.

We will ensure that they know to alert us if there is an issue so they can go home. Most evenings, our Head Chef, who runs the restaurant, is our cook or we have our bar manager on staff. Pleasant one night stay
I only stayed one night but I had a great experience. The check in was pleasant, both ladies were very pleasant and professional while one was training. The hotel smelled clean and fresh along with my room. I didn’t use any services but since I do visit Abilene I believe I have found my goto hotel now! Thank you!

This property was nice. Very new. We liked the shower a lot. But I kept getting emails for about 36 hours before arrival telling me to download the app to skip checking in at the front desk. I never could get it to work. So I started calling the front desk to verify our room because we were running later than the check in time. (In the past, we have been delayed by construction and a hotel gave away our room even though it was confirmed. So we don't want that to happen again.) We thought it might be 11pm before we arrived at this property but we did get there around 7pm. But no one ever picked up the phone at the front desk all that afternoon. I called 6x but no one answered. I finally called the new reservations line and she was able to put a note on my reservation about later arrival. There were 2 girls at the front desk when we checked in. When I went back later, because she only gave us 1 key, both girls were just sitting on the sofa in the lobby area chatting. Obviously this is why the phone never was answered that day. Very poor customer service. The hotel was nice but this one item was disappointing. bp

They did not have the room that was reserved.We asked that our room be cleaned and it wasn’t. When I asked for clean wash clothes I was given hand towels and had to go back down a second time to get what I asked for.

I really like Hilton. The rooms are nice and the facilities are well kept. I really like the option for their breakfast. They have one of the best buffet options out there for those with a simple breakfast. They do have a problem with their connection with Expedia. This Hotel overbooked my room and were unable to give me a comparable room. I would advise booking with them through the Hotel and not through Expedia.

Nice hotel, but alarm issues need attention
Hotel was very clean, and in a good location. Our stay was great, except twice during the night a loud fire alarm went off in the room causing no one to be able to sleep well. I don’t know why this occurred since there was no fire, but it definately messed up our sleep.

Overall stay was nice. I know they were having problems with fire alarm which was frustrating being woken up in the middle of the night but that was out of their control. What was really frustrating was when the elevators weren’t working but NO SIGN was posted so stood there for a while wondering what was going on. Finally found stairs that lead me outside so had to walk around the outside of building to lobby to find front desk staff on personal phone chatting not paying attention to me when she could’ve been trying to help inform people of situation.

I do apologize that our fire alarm went off and made things unpleasant. I know that it appeared that our agent was talking on her phone instead of working as she was using her personal cell phone. However, the issue was that she was talking to the alarm people trying to reset the elevator, and our portable phone at the front desk will not get reception in the elevator room (the room behind the elevator). As a result, she was running around between the electrical room, elevator room, front desk and elevator area attempting to get the elevators running before the majority of guests woke up. I got here at 6 am and attempted to help and a little after that time she did get notes posted but her primary concern was getting the elevators back up and running. I can imagine it was very frustrating for you and I do apologize for that. I do hope that you will give us another opportunity to serve you so you can see we are better than this past stay. Our stay was pleasant and comfortable. The rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable; there was hot water and plenty of amenities and towels available. The staff is friendly, and having a restaurant in the hotel is a plus! Great stay overall.

The toilet paper holder was so far from the toilet you had to lean over unsafely. They put us on the 3rd floor with our dog! We couldn’t regulate the ac/heater very well. And they/you charged us for a breakfast of tasteless, overcooked eggs, overcooked sausage, cold potatoes.
