“Nice Rooms”
Friendly front office staff who were courteous and full of information and assistance. The room was VERY clean. The carpet was plush and soft - just the way I like it. None of that indoor/outdoor stuff. Bed was VERY comfortable too with plenty of pillows. The kitchen was clean and well stocked with appropriate needs. The only thing there would have been drip pans under the burners. These were covered with aluminum and just a little tacky. Hot water was plentiful and a good temperature and nice soaps.
“Hotel stay”
WE had the best stay at the hotel, it was in convenient location no car was needed it was quit at night during the day full of life,I was too happy that the indoor pool was out of commission but overall I loved it Thank you for the wonderful stay!!!!
“A visit to beach with snow”
Clean rooms and building. Great staff. Would of been nice to have donuts or something first thing in morning.
“Mini-vaca”
Only complaint was that they didn't have Showtime or HBO....Otherwise it was a great deal....Very nice staff...
“Perfect for a few days stay.”
This is clean, very comfortable, and quiet place. I had the smallest room they have to offer, bit it was perfect for me and my two teendagers. They have larger units, I understand, with kitchens and more amenities. It is close to city center and all you may need is within walking distance. Beach also is steps away.The staff goes out of the way to make sure you are happy and all your needs are met. There was no breakfast served at the hotel when I was there (it was off season), but there are plenty of great food locations nearby, so it is not a big deal, considering the affordability and all other neat things this place has to offer. It also has on site laundromat, which is very convenient. I definitely will stay with them next time I visit Ocean Shores. Highly recommend them.

“Older Hotel”
This is the Old Gitche Gumee Inn. It has some update, but it is an older motel. I had no problems with the stay, as the rooms have been updated. Frig, Microwaves, Stove, etc. The furniture should be update along with the curtains.
“so dissappointed, we left the next day having prepaid our rooms!!!”
smelly rooms; smelly and broken washroom and kitchen sink. Utensils were good. Stove not clean. Housekeeping every 3rd day!!! Front desk closes at 9 pm. U have to go to front desk to get your clean towels/supplies etc. The front desk staff were kind and helpful. what else can I say.
