“OK For The Money”
It did seem to be not to well kept up to the 21st century. But my purpose in a hotel is basically someplace to sleep at night. I tend not to spend much time in my hotel room when I travel. I am usually about the place I am traveling to looking at all the sites. It's not a five star, but not a trash heap. A few things were broken and the TV got only 4 channels. It serves its sleeping purpose. I would basically recommend it to the traveler that is not going to spend their entire time in a hotel with the high class ammenities.
“Not too bad not too good!”
This hotel is the smallest hotel with tiny size rooms I have ever seen. To visualize in your mind I would say that the bed itself was taking more than 50% of the total space in the room. The room was clean. If you won't spent most of your time in the room it wouldn't be a problem at all. It was listed as if this hotel has a restaurant however they seperated the restaurant from the hotel to turn it into an individual store on the street. It is also far away from exhibition center. There is a public transportation available by bus (A10) however it leaves every 30 minutes and it takes about 1hour and 10 minutes to get there. The hotel is located at the center of an old fishing town which is called Aberdeen. There are very nice Chinese and Thai restaurants on the street behind the hotel. There are also local grocery and bakery stores available at the center at walking distance to the hotel. You can also take a walk along the harbor at nights. The hotel staff is very helpful. Some of them don't speak any word of English but you can still communicate somehow. If you are going to stay in Hong Kong for a couple of days I believe it is one of the affordable options you may consider. However don't have your expectations too high otherwise you might be disappointment with all downsides I mentioned above.
