At New World Hotel there is a restaurant and bar/lounge. We serve breakfast buffé every morning that is included in the price, every weekday 06:30-10:00 and every weekend/holiday 07:30-11:00. “Nécessite une voiture”
Un hôtel plus que recommendable quoique un petit peu excentré et éloigné d'une station de métro ou d'un arrêt de bus. Il est préférable de posséder un moyen de transport pour accéder au coeur de la ville.
“A good choice for an inexpensive stay”
Rooms were borderline austere without coffee-makers (you have to get them from the front desk) and only the stationery was complementary (toiletries must be purchased if you don't bring your own), but quite clean and the beds were very comfortable. Housekeeping was up to par - my room was always tidied up nicely when I returned from downtown. The complimentary breakfast serves a wide range of foods - cereal, yogurt, eggs, sausage, meatballs, bacon, breads and rolls, sliced meats and cheese, fresh fruit and vegetables, coffee, tea and juice. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable about the city, and quite helpful - one went so far as to phone her grandmother about a question I had about medical care in Stockholm. The only downside to this hotel is the location - it's quite a distance from downtown (takes about 30-45 minutes via public transportation) and it's probably best to get a cab there from the airport despite the 560-kronor ($80) fare. There aren't any public transportation stops very close the hotel.
“A very good hotel”
A very good hotel that went beyond my expectations. room conditions were excellent and spacious too. just thought that they were perhaps a tad bit understaffed especially in the restaurant and bar.
“Nice Hotel - but you need a car or take a Taxi”
Nice hotel with friendly helpful staff. The room i had opened into an indoor attrium - the restaurant. However location is not so good unless you have a car. There are no nearby shops or restaurants. The nearest railway station is about 20 minutes walk through a industrial park with big Trucks and a poor sidewalk. Bus stop is also a walk away.
“Hotel staff didn't know where the hotel is!”
I called several times to the hotel to get the exact address and location, but the hotel front desk staff could not tell me where their hotel was located, maybe that was poor English or just stupidness. I had to go to another hotel to ask and get the directions. How embarassing is that?
“Bien mais difficile d'acces”
L'hotel est très correct (grande chambre et salle de bain), le personnel accueillant mais.............il est très difficile d'accès à pied (au milieu d'une zone industrielle à 30 min à pied de la station de train la plus proche :( ) ça va si on veut passer une nuit mais trop excentré pour visité Stockholm plusieurs jours.
“Good hotel at a convenient location”
New World Hotel is a decent hotel located near a convention center (its claim to fame). They have a good breakfast table and the people at the front desk are very helpful and cordial. There are a few things that could be improved, such as: 1) There is only 1 iron and table for all the guests. Moreover, they are in a small room. Not acceptable for the price they charge. 2) The lock to the rooms are keys. They need to upgrade to the 21st century and add electronic pads. There is one more detail, this hotel does not have AC, it gets hot in Summer; if you are in a room facing the street and open the windows to get fresh air, you will need ear plugs/muffs. The location to this hotel is very convenient to transfer to downtown Stockholm, one short bus ride and then the T13 or T14, very convenient.

“New World- old problems”
The Hotel should be ok if you just want a room. The internet service was bad, not good for business travel or if you are constantly surfing the net from your laptop.Food was good, oriental cuisine and the breakfasts had surprising variety. Some staff could not answer enquiries and that was a bit frustrating. Only half the equipment in the fitness room was functional and the sauna was not working. The hotel is well serviced by buses but is in the middle of an industrial complex. They are renovating the hotel so expect noise from power tools in the morning and the unsightly plastic covers and paper boards on the floor.
