"Very nice resort. Great for kids."
We took our daughter and her family and stayed 7 nights. We had a great time. 3 pools and hot tubs. Slide for the kids, great snorkeling right there on the beach. Close to shopping areas. I'm happy that we selected this resort. We would go there again.

"2nd stay here; love the breakfast"
The breakfasts are fantastic - they even had gluten free muffins, but it's definitely worth it to try and get a 2 for 1 deal if you can b/c it can be expensive. The hotel is great, we really enjoy it and it's our favorite hotel to stay out.

"Great experience"
Hotel is at best location. Really nice compare to some of the other hotels we went in that area. Room was good. Kids friendly. Swimming Pool experience was great. We really had fun with kids. Staff were friendly and lot of good restaurants in property. You could walk to mall next door and watch free Hula dance in mall during weekend evening. Wish we could stay there for few more days as a week was not enough.

"Great Hotel"
When I was looking at booking a hotel in Maui, the Sheraton was not on my list based on previous reviews. However, I was wrong. The Sheraton Maui Resort and Spa is a great hotel. Please be aware that there is a resort fee.

Pocket Guide: Maui Island Kaanapali 4 stars Green / Sustainable Hotels

Kaanapali is a prime vantage point for viewing humpback whales, which swim by December to May. The town’s whaling history is displayed at Whaler’s Village, a shopping complex and museum. Visitors also can experience the area’s farming past by riding the Sugar Cane Train, a restored steam locomotive. Snorkelers and divers can enjoy the coral reefs and fish that thrive in nearby Black Rock Beach.
