The Peabody Memphis was gorgeous - our stay was too brief. The interior of the building is just stunning and the service is exceptional.
The bathroom was tiny but the comfort level of the hotel overall and the room itself made up for the pokey bathroom.
Duck soaps, duck linen, duck robes...everything an animal lover would enjoy.
Conveniently located and within walking distance of most Memphis attractions.
We had a terrific stay. Room was beautiful and clean plus fresh towels, nice view from our window and attentive staff.
We came to Memphis to enjoy the history of Rock & Roll and the Blues, so being just one block off Beale St allowed us walk to everything...we didn't use our car once!
Lobby staff was very helpful.
Don't know what the Westin here in Memphis could have done better. I was pleasantly surprised since I had read quite a number of negative reviews. I still booked the room since the hotel location was right in the area we planned to spend most of our time.
This was our first trip as a couple and it could not have been nicer!!
The Exchange has taken an historic bank building that housed converted apartments and offered some of the apartments as hotel rooms. Our room was clean, spacious, and comfortable at a very reasonable price. If you can rent one of these for a couple of nights through Expedia for a reduced rate, you'll find everything is in order, and the staff is exceptional.
You're a block from Rendezvous Ribs (still one of the best meals in Memphis), three blocks from Beale Street, and a fifteen-minute drive from Graceland or Sun Studios. Parking is one block away and very reasonable, particularly compared to the cost of parking at any nearby hotel; you'll pay less than half.
I'd highly recommend this stop for convenience and comfort.
