"Within a quick walk of the inner harbour and shops"
The staff were amazingly comfortable and approachable. They took time to listen and were genuinely involved in my comfort. I felt welcomed. The room was immediately comfortable. I could tell that it was prepared with care and attention to detail. The gym was unexpectedly large and welll equipped, as were the indoor pool, spa and sauna. Be sure to try the apple tart at Vic's, the restaurant inside. To die for! Visit! You won't be disappointed.

"Amazing hotel!"
We've stayed at this hotel 3 times now and we will be continuing to stay there every time we visit Victoria. The hotel staff are extremely pleasant and very friendly. The rooms are clean, well maintained, and comfortable. I love that there is secure parking with valet service. It's within walking distance to shopping, awesome restaurants, and some of the top tourist attractions. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for an affordable yet comfortable place to stay.

"Very Impressed"
First time visiting The Parkside Hotel and we were very pleased. Amenities such as the pool, gym, change rooms, hot tub were spotless. Our room was fantastic, We liked the small patio with access from the living room and bedroom. Great view from the master, huge windows to look at the surroundings. The heated tile floors were a nice touch. We really felt comfortable like we were at home. The lobby/atrium was so well kept and staff was very welcoming. I really appreciated the fact that I was contacted within 1/2hr after checking in to see if my room was to my satisfaction. I've had some bad experiences at other hotels where nobody cares after you check in, they just take you're money. Can't wait to visit Victoria once again and stay at The Parkside Hotel once again. Next time I would request the top floor for even better views. I would have liked to check out the rooftop patio, but it was undergoing renovations during our stay. If you wan't to enjoy your stay while visiting Victoria, I would definitely recommend choosing The Parkside Hotel. The underground parking was a little stressful. Parking underground his very low. if you have a full size truck, you might want to double check/confirm you're height "before you attempt to drive down there". I have a Ford F150 and had 1" of clearance and less in some areas.

"Older hotel, but a great location."
I was only in Victoria for a few nights, but this hotel was great. It's a bit on the older side, but they've taken great care of the place. The room I had was larger than I expected, and it's in a great location, less than a mile from the Royal BC Museum and less than a block off Highway 17 for quick access to the Ferry Terminal at Swartz Bay.

With so much to do in Victoria, it’s easy to customize your trip and experience the best the city offers while staying within budget.

Start your holiday with a bold adventure on the breakwater. Located close to the Inner Harbour, the breakwater is a low, 700 m concrete bridge on the bay that provides sweeping views of the city. The harbour itself is another favorite, especially the wooden pier of Fisherman’s Wharf. With prime views of sea life and places for people-watching, it’s a charming spot, made only better with some local ice cream treats.

If you love looking at beautiful things, consider heading over to the Art Gallery of Greater Victoria. The museum offers a pay-what-you-want day once a month, allowing visitors with even the tightest budgets the chance to view a variety of local and international art pieces.

Another thing that’s a real beauty is the deal you can get on the perfect Victoria 3-star hotel when you book with Expedia.
