"Comfortable hotel in great location"
I couldn't have been happier with our stay! We had a comfortable room that overlooked Eliot Bay and the Space Needle. The staff was friendly and helpful. There were great restaurants within walking distance. We'll be back!

"Just as great the second time around"
The first time we visited to Seattle, we took a chance on this highly rated hotel with its prime location and charm oozing out of the pictures posted by other guests. It turned out to be one of our top hotel experiences, and a place we talked about repeatedly when recalling what we loved about Seattle. So of course when we made plans to visit Seattle again, there was no other place we wanted to stay than The Maxwell. This hotel again did not disappoint - the staff are all so welcoming and accommodating, the rooms are kept so clean, the amenities offered in your room as part of your stay (ie no extra charges) are plentiful and beat most competitors (bottled waters, keurig coffee/tea, popcorn, free house slippers, dispensers with shampoo, conditioner, body soap, hand soap, lotion), the free shuttle service is wonderful, the afternoon cupcakes and coffee are delicious, the free parking garage is gate controlled and secure, even the umbrella in the closet is a thoughtful touch. The Maxwell folks truly put a lot of thought into what would make their guests comfortable. The only negative throughout the whole experience was their wifi (we were on the 2nd floor) was quite slow, and it was faster to turn my phone into a hotspot as many sites took forever to load otherwise.

"Location is best"
Next to Seattle Public Library and on the center of Seattle. It works best for short-time stay. Room is quite small compare to others; however, staff is super informative and helpful. They are willing to help you every single time.

"Location and chic"
Location was in walking distance of everything! The hotel was a mix of retro and contemporary all in one. I enjoyed the beer hour and the $5 honor bar credit for being green friendly.

"Classy, swanky, & sophisticated"
If you've ever wanted to transport to a different era/vibe of time, definitely check out the Marqueen. The rooms are spacious and highlight the beauty of the Victorian style building. Stayed in a Queen Anne sweet and loved the huge and spacious layout with a killer view of the street. Would stay again in a heartbeat!

"Nice hotel close to space needle."
This place was great, friendly staff and great location. Parking was good too. We didn't have to pay for parking cause we found a parking spot on the side of the street. I would stay here again.
