"Grear location, clean and very friendly staff."
Great expierince, overall very happy and i recommend this hotel. Some advice: if you think vallet parking is too expensive - $34+tax, park accross the street at public parking it is $20 (incl tax) for the whole day when you chose "hotel overnight"

"Convenient location"
Overall a very nice stay. Would be nice if there was more than one chair to relax in since the room sleeps 4. No where to sit and watch tv besides the bed. The staff was always helpful and we were walking distance to the Space Needle and Monorail to get where we wanted to go.

"Historic charm with modern amenities"
Beautiful old hotel, in central location. The lobby was under renovation...looking forward to see it after completion. Very nice pool and hottub. The lounge had a romantic ambience and our bartender was very courteous.

"Nice hotel near Seattle Center"
Great experience at the hotel. Warm reception from staff and cupcakes! Nice touch to have umbrella in the room which we used to walk over to Seattle Center for a play. Restaurants nearby. Clean room, great location.

"nice older hotel..."
My room was clean, quiet and comfortable. The staff were all very nice and helpful. great location for the museums, space needle, the market and downtown shopping. It is an older hotel but the bathrooms looked recently renovated and were very clean, bed was more than adequate with masses of pillows, nice duvets. Liked the pub downstairs also. I will definitely stay here again! :-)

"Great Location"
This is a centrally located downtown hotel in a nice part of DT. Just short walks to Westlake shopping mall and Pacific Center shopping mall. Lots of street level shops around. About 8 blocks to the Pikes Market (10-15 min walk). Location is excellent for the DT activities. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Stayed in 3 different rooms there and all beds are firm and comfy - Great becasue I HATE soft and spongy beds! Some things to consider are that this is a renovated hotel so the renovation is obvious. They seem to only have window unit HVAC, which is very loud when running. On the other hand, they offer free wifi. The rooms, depending on which one you get, can be rather tight. Just depends on availablility and what you are requesting. I personally found the hotel enjoyable, even given the above shortcomings, so that is why I rate it 5 stars.

"Wonderful stay!"
My husband and I had a wonderful stay! The rooms are massive and it was neat to stay at a hotel with some history and with a good restaurant across the street. The hotel is very old, so this may not be the hotel for you if you are into newly renovated modern looking rooms.

"Great hotel close to the Convention Center"
Big room with 2 queen beds and a little sitting area. Very nice view and extremely convenient to the convention center. The staff were very helpful when we wanted a rollaway bed for some fraction of our nights.

"Wonderful restaurant and a great central location"
We stayed just one night to attend an event in Seattle, and will definitely return! The hotel is so comfortable and vintage-beautiful. The food from their restaurant Andaluca was amazing ... and the staff was very professional, friendly and accommodating in every way. It's close to so many things so the location is perfect. We had a great experience.
